The Fantastic Plastic Machine is world renown DJ/Producer Tomoyuki Tanaka’s solo project. His original style of mixing dance music with his own roots music is highly regarded internationally. He has played in about 50 cities throughout the world. Besides releasing 5 original albums, the best of album “FPMB” which collects music sources from 21th century onward is now on sale by avex. In FATBOY SLIM’s best remix collection that was released in September 2007, “THE JOURNEY” remixed by FPM is included. He also plays an active part in various fields such as music of the LOUIS VUITTON’s animation films “SUPERFLAT MONOGRAM” “SUPERFLAT FIRST LOVE” by Takashi Murakami, and music of DANCE-MUSIC-CLOCK “UNIQLOCK” which won the grand prix at all of the world’s best 3 advertising awards. The album “TRAX”, a work by the producing unit “RAVEX” with Shinichi Osawa and ☆Taku Takahashi, and featuring other magnificent artists was released on 29th April 2009.
