My name is Allen; But most people know me as gore. People have been asking what I used to make all this, so I'll tell you: LMMS. I've used LMMS for a few years now, and I make all the music on here with it, running on a few different computers I have, with either FreeBSD, SUSE Linux, Slackware Linux, or Debian Linux. Depending on which machine I use, it's generally made with one of those OSs. I make all this music by myself. I come up with a beat and some sounds, lay it out how I want it to sound, and then I make sure the pitch is exactly what I want, and then I export it as a .wav file. I use 320 Kbps to keep the quality of it high, and afterwards, I use an app called lame to encode the music as an MP3. Once I have that done, which I do at 320 Kbps, I make another at 128 Kbps so I can upload it on here for people to listen to. So, there you have it, a History of Horror. Most of the inspiration for my music comes from bands I've listed and Horror movies. A big goal for me would be having George A Romero ask me to do a sound track for a Living Dead movie. If you like what you hear, leave a comment, I do check this just about every day. I also like doing mixes of songs too. I also sample songs I like sometimes, and add those into my Music, and a lot of my songs have samples from Horror Movies. I've liked the idea of adding in Horror Movie samles ever since I started making music. A lot of the samples are Zombie Movies, or others I like, and Night of the Living Dead has been sampled a LOT because I love that movie.

I wasn't sure what to call what I make, because even though it kind of sounds like Industrial, it also has electronic / Techno properties too. And I really noticed that even though I make all this on my computers, it still has a sound that you can tell was influenced by The Misfits. So I decided to come up with something on my own: Digital Horror Punk - I think it defines the music pretty well; A lot of it is Industrial or Techno style, but I also do play guitar and bass and do stuff like The Misfits, but I wanted something all my own, so I came up with that. I'd have more styles of music up here if I could do it, but I just don't have anything to hook up a Bass or Guitar to a computer, so I don't. I do have recordings I've made with a crappy PC Microphone where I was playing Bass and Guitar, and doing vocals, but the sound quality is REALLY crap. So Digital Horror Punk it is. An Electronic / Digital version of Horror Punk.
