Fatal Error is a series of parties dedicated to electronic music made with simple sound chips, analogue synths and various beepy and bloopy electronic effects and toys which give the music distinctive feeling and warmth. The music is based on simple beeps, raw bass lines, analogue synthetic waves as well as various digital noises, together with robotic or natural vocals and compact noise beats, which are occasionally joined with various live musical instruments.
On our parties you can hear music made with old computer systems such as: ZX Spectrum 48K, ZX Spectrum 128K, Atari ST, Atari XL/XE, Commodore 64, Amiga 500, MSX, PC-DOS (PC Speaker, AdLib & Soundblaster), Arcade machines, Gameboy and SNES, which includes music from old games, intros and demos. We also play music from various TV shows and movies, some synthpop, electro, electro-punk and related music. We go all the way to the beginning of electronic music and back to the present day's artists who still swear by old style electronic sounds.
Most of Fatal Error parties are free - the whole thing is non-profit for you to have fun and discover new ways and new boundaries of electronic music.
