Fear of God or F.O.G. is a Switzerland legendary Grindcore/noisecore band, from the middle of 80..s.
They started in 1987 and broke-up in 1988, but comeback in the middle of 2002 to breake up again in 2003.
Their sound is a down tuned in B note like doom or sludge bands of today with grindcore to noisecore brutal sound , maybe more noisecore concept. the vocals are the proto brutal death standard.
Fear of God has been a very influential band to many new school grindcore/death metal bands.
Curios fact in Mexico, World under my fingernail is a song covered for many ,many bands, is like special punk/hardcore/grindcore hymn.
