Since 2001, the Original Fell's Point GhostWalk has highlighted the
colorful history and haunted past of this rowdy neighborhood in a
one-hour walking tour. Named "Best Tour" by the Baltimore City Paper, Best of
Baltimore issue, 2002 and 2003, the GhostWalk covers the ghosts of
many of the beloved taverns of the neighborhood, highlights the well
hidden Fell-Bond cemetery, which is tucked away on a small side
street, and points out some of the more "spirited" residences.
The ghost stories range from humorous to tragic, from old salts to
Baltimore hons. Fell's Point is so haunted that some of the
neighborhood's ghosts didn't make the cut when Melissa Rowell and Amy
Lynwander created the tour. After the tour shopping, eating and
drinking possibilities abound as tour goers choose whether they'll
visit the watering hole of the ghost with the favorite polka on the
juke box, visit the Madame who has remained behind, or seek out Edgar
Allan Poe's old hangout.
All of our tour guides are local actors.
