Fernanda Fachinetti is a young artist from the Brazilian musical scenery who takes a dive deep into her own roots in order to find her musical identity. In her research she openly flirts with Bossa Nova, which, according to her is what her country has best to offer. Directly influenced by João Gilberto’s work, Fernanda uses her natural voice to interpret her compositions in a soft, cool and intimate way. Being a composer as well she is aware of the need to find rich harmonization and beautiful melodies. The lyrics of her songs translate her emotions, feelings and perceptions of the city in which she was born and raised: Salvador in the state of Bahia, Brazil. Her losses, lost loves and life experiences are also a source of inspiration for the beautiful soulful lyrics of all her love songs.
Fachinetti started to study Bossa Nova in 2004 with the great musician and maestro Aderbal Duarte who is an expert on João Gilberto's work. During the last three years she sang as vocalist with the Afro band and Carnival entity known as Cortejo Afro which she believes is another type of school, rich in cultural aspects. To her a great experience that has given the possibility to get in contact with different types of rhythm as well as with artits such Cetano Veloso, Gerônimo and Daniela Mercury. Due to this cultural and melodic mix she has developed a personal, authentic, and unique musical work, called "baiana" that she is presenting here .xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFernanda Fachinetti é uma jovem artista do cenário musical Brasileiro que aprofunda em suas raízes estudando suas identidades rítmicas e, o que pra ela, o seu pais tem de melhor, a Bossa Nova. Diretamente influenciada por João Gilberto, Fernanda usa sua voz natural ao interpretar de maneira suave e contida. Como compositora, preocupa-se com ricas harmonizações e cria belíssimas melodias. As letras de suas músicas traduzem o que ela vê e sente na cidade onde nasceu e ainda vive, Salvador na Bahia. As perdas e amores que teve também servem de inspiração para as lindas canções de amor escritas por ela.
Fachinetti começou seus estudos de Bossa Nova em 2004 com o músico e maestro prof. Aderbal Duarte que é um especialista na obra de João Gilberto. Ela também integrou por três anos o Bloco Afro Cortejo Afro, o que ela considera um outro tipo de escola, rica de elementos culturais e muito ritmo. Por esse motivo Fernanda Fachinetti desenvolveu seu próprio estilo, apresentando aqui um autêntico e inusitado trabalho autoral.
Primeira semana de 2010 em terra Brazilis, brota o Sol em Sampa e a pergunta que se levanta, no horizonte dos meus dias, se o brilho do Rei terá sentido? A estrela que mantém a vida, ofertará além de tua “Luz”, quais raios de “alegria” em meu “Iceberg” particular? Terei o calor de um beijo esquecido no canto esquerdo do universo, serei agraciado com uma nova “estrela” para amar, as vertentes do tempo efêmero soprados pelo vento, terão no silêncio a moradia “definitiva” ou será a “Solidão” a companhia bandida das noites frias, nem sempre basta minhas asas para aquecer meu pulsar, às vezes arrasta as penas pelo quarto ao altar, onde não mais de joelhos, venero o divino ato de amar.
