Hi Beanfield, i am pleased to announce: Dooload. de has published my first EP. Slowhand Staccato is like the soundtrack to a movie of Fellini realized by Tarantino. Spanish-arabian tunes are mixed with tango elements and the broken beats of a marching band. Ben zen Berg bundles melancholy with new elements he finds on the dark side of kitsch. A shellac nostalgia, frozen in technical sterility, will awake in a new life of warm but synthetic sound. In each head this downbeat can find a cinema. You can download Slowhand Staccato at

Sven Väth, DJ Hell, Sasha, Larry Heard, Kenny Dope, Coldcut, Carl Craig – are just a few of the thousands of DJs presented on PLAY.FM.
It all started exactly three years ago in a small studio in Vienna’s Museumsquartier. Today PLAY.FM is one of the most expansive online audio databases for DJ and club culture. More than 6,000 DJ sets, radio shows and live recordings from across the globe can be heard free of charge and on-demand at www.play.fm.
For the official birthday party PLAY.FM is proud to present the father of Detroit techno: Anthony “Shake” Shakir will play one of his rare European gigs on 5 May. Shake has been playing a decisive role in shaping the Motor City Sound since 1981 – from long-time A&R for Juan Atkins' Metroplex-Label to Co-Producer and Sound Engineer for Derrick May, Carl Craig und Keith Tucker from Aux 88.
In contrast to many of his colleagues, Shake avoided selling-out Detroit techno to the European market and has stayed true to his style: bone-dry and unbelievably soulful techno tracks with diverse influences from electro to hip hop and funk.
