FireBorn is a melodic death metal band from Buffalo, NY. Blazing dual guitar solos, power metal harmonies and melodies, extreme vocals and intense drumming are just some of the driving forces behind the band. Founding members include drummer Matt Swistak, lead guitarist Scott Ketch, bassist/vocalist Adam Svensson, and the line up is rounded out with lead guitarist Nick "Nickelbag" Norton, who is also in Buffalo based death metal band Seize the Soul. FireBorn is a band for anyone who is a fan of In Flames, Soilwork, Children of Bodom, and Dragonforce, just to name a few.
The band currently has 3 full lengths released. These full lengths include 2003's "Creation Chaos", 2005's "...As The World Crumbles", and just recently released in September of 2007 "A Deadly Premonition". Each release shows the growth and evolution of the band into what they are today. Their newest full length "A Deadly Premontion" marks the debut of Nick Norton on a FireBorn recording, and this album best showcases the bands excellent guitar work. FireBorn as opened for many national acts including Deicide, Between the Buried and Me, Into Eternity, All Shall Perish, Mushroomhead, Bleed the Sky, All That Remains, God Forbid, Skinless, Soilent Green, and many others as well.
