things that make our brains flicker with neuro-electro pulses
Sounds Like
Renegotiated filth. People have heard in our music elements of: Fugazi, Slint, Shellac, Killing Joke, The Melvins, Sausage, Pixies, Deftones, Cable, Big Black.
oh god, never even written any material of my own ever. i've played little tunes from nowhere now and then but they're tiny and crap so i forget them haha! guess i'll keep at and make sure i practice a lot heh. i think the whole lot from maybeshewill are VERY talented... i'm just glad they've not let it get to their heads :P i'm incredibly excited about their new album, the new material they played in leicester was amazing!
oh uh, i just kind of assumed :P would be awesome. i'm sure if you have a natter with john he'd be able to help...that's if he's kind of organising it like he was last time :P god i feel bad i neglect myspace like this, i should probably just natter to you on facebook since it'd be easier haha! x
Amazingly enough you've given me a touch of hope haha! I guess the more you practice with other people the better you become over time. Was chatting the Robin about it the other day and just get this eerie feeling I've got such a long way to go!
Oh man, you must be gutted to be missing that...on the other hand Trail of Dead are a treat live so it's not all bad. The 65/MSW gig is so close to my birthday I may actually just buy a wad of tickets and declare it as my birthday nightout heh
Aha- glad to hear it mate. So I assume if you're playing at the White Noise Festival you guys may have some nice new material to play? Kind of on the subject but I'm planning to put on Maybeshewill over here but that's risky stuff considering what a reception they got last time haha...
Cheers man! I'll give you some peace for now, or at least until I log on once again hehe. Have a good weekend and all! :) x
haha, you're a legend! it's good to hear from you! i think that bumticker mix is quite interesting so i'm looking forward to some new material soon ;) i'm getting to that point myself where i'd like to start practicing in band too but i'm still not quite good enough. one day! you guys goin to be supporting at the msw gig this week btw? x
A mate from school days who took his own life in '04, hopefully these songs mean something to his group of friends who miss him. It's a sore and sad subject, but something that holds a lot of weight in mine and others' mind's.
Just a quick note to say that "through the trees" has been added to the subLAD MySpace player - it's the first track on my forthcoming album, entitled "where the land meets the sky".
We have also put up a preview of the whole album on the n5MD website:
