"Great, stripped-down punk rock the way it's supposed to be: energetic, fun and agressive...sounds like Superchunk did before they veered into indie rock" - Punk Planet
Born out of frustration at the stagnant lad rock indie scene of Liverpool in the late 90s, Flamingo 50 formed through a mutual need for fast, raucous rock n' roll. Having drunkenly discovered that other people found it as exciting as they did, their mission was clear: their raw take on punk rock should, nay MUST be taken to the masses. Their journey thus far has taken them as far as France and the USA, and resulted in three EPs, the album 'My Reason' on Keith Records, second album 'Flamingo 50 Tear It Up' on Brooklyn's Ernest Jenning Recording Company and split records with Fabiola, Lack Of Reason and San Francisco/Austin Indie-Punk Heroes J Church!! on Los Diaper Records!

Hey flamingo 50! Thanks for adding the Mod Amish. Please enjoy a free download of our tune "September" which was a first place finisher out of over 5000 entries in Converse Shoes "Get Out of the Garage" song contest. Cheers!
Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.
Hey there. Just wanted to let you know that our new album, 'The Strange Cargo Cult of The Bottletop Millionaires' is out now and available to buy from cd baby or to download from i-tunes and amazon.com. Be well. Love, the Bottletops x
