[Italiano] I Flashback of Anger sono un un gruppo power-melodic metal fiorentino, formato nel 2003. Durante il loro primo anno, sfruttano l'occasione del contest Emergenza Rock per formare un repertorio, trovare un assetto e cominciare l'esperienza sul palcoscenico, arrivando in finale nazionale. Nell'Ottobre 2004, incidono il loro primo EP autoprodotto, Panta Rei, presso il Koan Studio di Firenze, che accoglie consensi positivi da molte webzine e community dell'ambiente underground. Nel 2005 partecipano a numerosi concerti per contest e rassegne, tra cui il Keller Contest che li proclamerà vincitori. Il 2006 è l'anno del secondo EP: Off With My Heart, anch'esso totalmente autoprodotto, e insignito del titolo di TOP DEMO su eutk.net e heavy-metal.it oltre che riscuotere grandi consensi di critica. Nello stesso anno vincono il Moontale Festival aprendo in finale i Linea77. Sull'onda di questo piccolo successo si presentano due grandi opportunità per la band: suonare all'EVOLUTION FESTIVAL (a fianco di band come Kamelot, Nevermore, Virgin Steele, Fates Warning e molte altre) e incidere il debut album SPLINTERS OF LIFE presso gli High Gain Recording Studios di Arne Lakenmacher (tour manager di Nevermore e Amon Amarth), Kai Hansen e Dirk Schlächter dei GammaRay, ed è proprio quest'ultimo che ha curato la direzione artistica. Al termine delle registrazioni Alessio Gori ha l'onore di entrare nei Gammaray come tastierista turnista per l'Hellish Tour con gli Helloween, che lo porterà a suonare con la Storia del power metal in tutto il globo. Grazie al manager Claudio Liuzzi della TMP una nuova era inzia ed i Flashback of Anger firmano un contratto discografico per la release di Splinters of Life con la tedesca Limb Music Products (Rhapsody, Pagan's Mind, Vanden Plas, Eldritch..). La release date è prevista per il 9 Aprile 2009..
[English] Flashback of Anger born on June 2003 due to the initiative of Antonio Sigismondi and Matteo Bonini. The real activity begins with the first live dates in occasion of the international contest of Emergenza Rock reaching the Italian final collecting many satisfactions from the beginning of our live experiences. After this contest the band is involved in creating own songs, the first five songs are included in 2004’s demo "Panta Rei".
Following the publication of "Panta Rei", optimally reviewed and a lot demanded, there was a wonderful period with more than 30 live dates in the period between January and September 2005.
This period ends with the important winning of Keller Kontest, important competition in the Tuscan underground.
In the spring/summer 2005 the Flashback have assisted to some line up changes: Alberto Amadori leaved for studying reasons
(he continueswriting lyrics and the story of the concept Splinter of Life), Emanuele Giorgetti and Giulio Cercato joined the band as second Keyboard player and Lead guitar.
The demo "off with my heart" has great success and positive reviews reaching the nomination of TOP ALBUM in several websites. Another battle of the band won in 2006, the Moontale Festival.
On this wave the Flashback of Anger have the two important opportunity: play at the Evolution Festival (with band like Kamelot, Nevermore, Virgin Steele, Fates Warning and many others) and then the recording of the debut album SPLINTERS OF LIFE at the High Gain Recording Studios of Arne Lakenmacher (tour manager of Nevermore and Amon Amarth), Dirk Schlächter and Kai Hansen from Gammaray under the artistic direction of Dirk.
After the recording session the frontman Alessio Gori joined GammaRay as keyboard player just for the Hellish tour with Helloween, playing with the Greatest power metal bands all over the world.
Thanks to his manager Claudio Lliuzzi of TMP a new era begins and Flashback of Anger sign with the german label Limb Music Products (Rhapsody, Pagan's Mind, Vanden Plas, Eldritch..). The release date of Splinters of Life is on April 9th 2009
