About me:












In high school and college, I was employed by The Andy Warhol Foundation which is located in New Hope, Pennsylvania, about 45 minutes from Manhattan. I worked directly under master silk screen maker Rupert Jason Smith. Smith's studio was covered in original art that he silk-screened for modern art masters including Warhol, Haring, Rivers, Rosenquist, and Hockney.



A benefit of my job with the Warhol crowd was getting to attend a lot of Interview magazine parties. The events were well attended by interesting New York art, photography, and music industry people. Until that pivotal point in my life, I was a typical and somewhat closed-minded athlete. The Warhol crowd helped open my eyes to another world outside of sports and academics.

While earning my undergraduate degree, I started a business entertainment/merchandising/event production company called Power Promotions. We targeted spring break and beach week vacationers at coastal resorts nationwide

Power Promotions employed me for seven years. It was great because I was working six months on U.S. Spring Break ventures. We later expanded to Mexico, Australia, and Europe. In my free time, I went to Europe on holiday.







At the age of 25, I sold my holiday resort business and started The Buckhead Outfitters Company in my new hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. I was the first person to merchandise Buckhead, Atlanta on clothing and other goods. My line was similar to the Beverly Hills Polo Club line. I designed the Buckhead line and had it manufactured in the U.S. and China. We wholesaled the products to Atlanta's airport and hotel gift shops. I also operated small retail stores in Atlanta, including a store in Lenox Square Mall that is still in operation today. During the 1996 Olympic Games, the area of Atlanta known as Buckhead was Atlanta's hot spot. Buckhead’s government officials' goal was to make that area of Atlanta the hottest real estate, retail, residential, and entertainment district in the South. The former Atlanta Mayor and current Buckhead Mayor, Sam Massel, and I promoted Buckhead as the "Beverly Hills of the East."



I was invited to be on the local Fox news affiliate’s Good Day Atlanta television program for five appearances. Being on the TV show was my initial taste of the media spotlight, and I enjoyed the publicity.



TThe Buckhead Outfitters Company also landed me in the Atlanta Journal, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Peachtree, and Atlanta magazine.





Since that initial PR campaign, I have gotten more than 300 media stories published for my clients and for my company. I currently prefer to throw the spotlight upon my clients. Recent highlights include articles in The New York Times, TMZ, the Wall St. Journal, and CNN, NBC, and US Weekly.





After selling Buckhead Outfitters, I started a company called Flavourset in New York City and in the Hamptons. Flavourset's first client was the government of Spain’s Iberian Consulate, which hired us to promote the Island of Ibiza to wealthy Americans. To accomplish that goal, we brought E! Entertainment Television to the island to film their first Wild On! program. It worked—tons of Americans now visit the island of Ibiza.







TTo promote Ibiza, we went on a U.S. Tour with DJ/Producer Paul Oakenfold, and I learned how to multi-media parties.I started a division called Flavourset Productions and produced events on the East Coast—mostly in Atlanta. Flavourset Production’s events got a lot of favorable press and attention in Atlanta and one of the themed events, “Science Friction,” is arguably most resident’s favorite event from that decade.
