.. I edited my profile with ..Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4.. Sasquatch has been djing and producing since the age of 16 but more importantly skanking since day one. Born in Leeds, a city famed for its soundsysytem culture sasquatch found himself by the stacks before he could see above the scoops. In Chapeltown (leeds) Cristenings, weddings and birthdays were always an excuse for the elders to set up the soundsystem for an all nite session. Here sasquatch would learn the importance of the dance, especially to a hyper active kid who didnt really like sleeping. So since these days sasquatch got more involved, picking up the mic at 13, singing over reggae, punk, hip hop and jungle and moving on to the decks at 16. Around this time Sasquatch found his first rave, 3 floors of techno, jungle, and dub in a derelict warehouse near the center of town. This time soundsystems manned by the likes of Tera, Desert storm and vibrations. These crews nurtured sasquatches love for a dirty rave and between this and the legendary all nite iration steppas dub sessions at the west indian center he would never need to sleep again... At the age of 18 sasquatch met sarantis and got involved in the rave for real helping set up partys and droppin tunes with the up and coming high pressure soundsystem (now two stacks of heavy weight bass!) and also kaos crew who both around these times threw some legendary parties to say the least. Squatting the recently derelict BBC news buildings and setting up the decks on the news desks!,closing off hessle mount (home of hessle audio)for an all nite street party, breaking LA bowl and raving in Quasar (a life long dream acomplished),Setting up the stacks in fields, forests on bridges and in car parks to give the people of leeds an alternative way to party for free all nite with no boundaries. This mixed with regular heavyweight dub soundclashes, jumping on the mic alongside Mc Urban vox with high pressure and being subjected to the feirce riddims that sarantis constantly plowed out for the dance lead sasquatch to start producing full time. In 2005 Sarantis and Sasquatch opened a studio recording grime mc's from Leeds to London, This gave them the chance to pick the finest of the bunch (Taurus, Asher don,Dialect,SickSense to name some)and work with them on tracks for Senseless. Also being frequantly visited by iration steppas mc's Bunnington juda and Sammy Dread and working with MC Oova(bluefoot project)and Urban Vox(high pressure) gave them the chance to stick with the more reggae styles aswell. During this time Sasquatch honed his production skills and tested tracks out on High pressure soundsystem on a regular basis. Between producing Dub, Techno, Garage and jungle and co-running Senseless records sasquatch found himself with his first release. A minimal grime/dubstep crossover called dolls eyes. From this day on sasquatch has worked with numerous Vocalists and producers including: Yt, Bunnington Juda, Aeon Crunc, Smasha, Headcleaner, Billy Nasty, Max Romeo, Sizzla, Foreign Beggars, Jah lonso Oova, Sick sense, Dialect, asher don, Honey Brown, Harper Lake, sunkilla to name a few and djayed alongside: Iration Steppas, N type, Oris Jay, Hatcha, Warlock, Exodus, Jack sparrow, Mungos Hifi, Loefah, Mrk 1, Mala, Warrior Queen, Congo Natty, Taskforce, Remarc and loads more Sasquatch now plays in and around the uk at festivals and in clubs. Also Autonomous squatted spaces,recently touring parts of eastern europe with Underkostruktion soundsystem. All the time spreading the sound of senseless records and all the styles and sounds of the people that inspire him... The sound-steet bass music!
