for algernon started as a recording project from Jason Wells. He would sit in his attic studio and record all day, almost everyday and occasionaly play a live show or two a year. With the release of his new cd in Janurary, 2005 "the lost days of captain johnny sinclair" Jason began to assemble a band for the actual release party and decided that he would no longer be just a one man show.
Jason plays in a few other bands, so he borrowed two players from the minni-thins (Jeremy Strickland-bass and Darin Strachan, slide and acoustic guitar and trombone) Tristen Shields (Jeff Perholtz-lead guitar) and newcomer Brett Trisch on drums.
Jason also has been known to score a few films from time to time, produce and record a few albums and design a few albums as well.
He also hates writing Bio's which is why they are always so terrible.
