Brooklyn-based electronics trio FORMA (Mark Dwinell, Sophie Lam, and George Bennett) combine Krautrock's propulsive force with the hypnotic drones of early minimalism to create "beatific beds of Kosmische rhythm and tone" (The Wire, UK). The group's eponymous debut LP was released in 2011 on Spectrum Spools (Editions Mego). A new record is forthcoming in fall 2012. -
