What others have said about the music of Formication:

'...moments of transcendental pandemonium, hyperactive low end frequencies, intense percussion, tuneful incantations and plainsong and even the occasional quiet bit...'

"A breathtaking duo who've managed to combine the fearful world of MR James with the hermetic nature of Coil to form a psycho-active third mind. Each recording is a plunge deeper into the heart of their own private demons. Quiet, brave and always truthful to their souls...."

"‘Icons for a New Religion’ is the astonishing new album from this often spaceward bound UK electronica duo of Alec Bowman and Kingsley Ravenscroft and represents their first non-self released work. Mulched digital flotsam, chattering rhythms, buried voices, squelched beats, vapour trails and suchlike combine to create a vast and sprawling, kaleidoscopic filmic spew that's unstoppable in its reaching out to those parts of yr imagination simply waiting to be taken to new places.

At times, the music recalls early Tangerine Dream or even Pete Namlook’s darker descents taking a trip to those realms usually reserved for Autechre via the ritualistic and chemical saturation of Coil, but these boys have been honing their craft long enough to bleed so many exciting and interesting shapes into it that it has become ultimately their own."

"...way too delicate to be noise"

"....this would work great in a movie, in a scene on a subway where the main character is looking blankly out of a window, flashing back about the nun who looked like his older sister that he just strangled...."

"Clean thin metal feel, containing tiny tunes - like a toy cathedral - a fleeting memory."

"...I did quite like this piece of audio you have created here. Musically, I think its horseshit, but as a piece of audio I really enjoyed it's soothing qualities."

"...reminds me of Mass Transit, catching little fragments of conversation that you're not really a part of. Very cool."

"I don't think my headphones are working properly?"

"Insistent rhythms and the afterglow of the bass on your skin, you can't help but feel that the summer sun is setting when the track reaches a close"

Hiya. I'm stepping around to inform you that I've just uploaded a new song to my profile.
The song's title is Atila and is yet another experiment, this time with some crazy drum programming.
Hope you have some time to check it.

Please, enjoy.

Hiya. :)
It's NuM again with a new creation...
The track's called Skeptical and recreates the reflexions of many in regard to religions nowadays.
Please listen and enjoy, and if you have some time tell me what do you think about it.
Comments are greatly appreciated.

Hiya

Some news for you. T:M:H are through to the Bloodstock Battle Of The Bands FINAL on Saturday the 16th of May at the Rockhouse [formerly First Floor] in Derby!

We are all super excited as it would genuinely be a dream come true for me/us to play Bloodstock but the judges decision is of course heavily dependent on how much of a crowd we draw so we really do need your support more than ever *puppy dog eyes*
if you only ever come to one T:M:H gig then please make this the one. even if rock or metal isn't your thing, please come along anyway and support me and my band because it would honestly mean so much. besides its something different and it would be fun to hang out and get messy!

As you may be aware we are auditioning bass players at the moment (apply within) but our previous bassist Stu is filling in..it is the last time you will see him on stage with us so its going to be a pretty major night for us..would be nice to have you there
thanks and muchhh loveth.
