Dear Ladies and Gents, (and other public domains that harbour drug taking and fornication)
There comes a time in certain people's lives where particular alterations in their inner essence and outer individuality amalgamate to bring about one of mother nature's more impressive mechanisms: 'change'. In the animal world, change can occur as a biological process called metamorphosis. Some insects, amphibians, mollusks, crustaceans, and rock bands undergo metamorphosis, which is usually (but not always) accompanied by a change of habitat or behaviour.
Well, I can safely say that the behavioural aspect is still in its downward spiral but hells bells, stick a fork in me and shout ten hail marys until the cows come round the mountain because Bobs has actually changed his postcode!!! After however many years it's been, Bobs has somehow managed to drag himself away from his scratch 'n' sniff carpet and old granny ceiling at The Old Duke (it had stains and leaked) and moved onto greener pastures in Hotwells, Bristol. a new chapter begins, probably with him getting a good nights sleep.
Another factor of change: the injection of fresh, new, superhuman hormones produced in the loins of the two new recruits. DES “I got my ass dominated by Akey” ROGERS and STEVE “Footlong” HANDOVER. The once intrepid caterpillar that left no leaf unchewed has cocooned itself for the last few months in order to become a mighty axe-weilding, skin-thumping, gland synthesising, eagle-shaped butterfly with tattoos. And if that doesn’t pull a crown there’s little hope for any of us.
Fortune Drive will now become the bedrock on which we form the next chapter of this sordid little tale: NEW RECRUITS, NEW ALBUM, BOBBY’S NEW HOUSE all call for a new beginning. A beginning which involves one of the biggest ejaculations of fresh-fuzz rock-o-spunk upon the clean faces and dirty beards of all you wanton public out there.
'YES REBELS' is the name. "ALL SIGNS OF A WASTED YOUTH" is the new album. We hope the true FD contingent that have stuck with us can allow for the transformation that has rejuvenated a bunch of cider-swilling benders. Peace and love to you all.
