On June 13th, 2005 five females dreams of being in a super-rocking band collided full force and resulted in an explosion of mammoth proportions. After finely crafting many a fimo clay cauldron bubble, and painstakingly hand-painting every little detail the 'Deathbox was born. When contemplating potential band names it just seemed to fit. Eureka! They dubbed themselves Foxy Deathbox. After playing their many a different garage theme shows like, " Down to Davy Jones' Locker and Into the Depths of Hell" and " The Black T-shirt Affair" and “The Slumber Party From Hell” things really seemed to be looking up for the 'Box.
But then tragedy struck, in the form of Captain Tragedy. After a few months of intensive rock camp, and a raw 10 song demo entitled, "We Brake For Graveyards" which contained covers from The Misfits, “Halloween” to originals like the spaz-metal “Sleeping With Spiders”... one member (being J Bonz Magee) didn't make it past the third 6 while doing FDX push ups back in the fall of 2005, and subsequently had to hand her over her drumsticks. The drumsticks were ceremoniously passed over to no other than Kat "Dangerous Drums" Radley during a rousing Slayer interlude. It was at that point that the magic truly started to happen.
In February of 2006 the ladies recorded their second demo self-titled, "Foxy Deathbox" and henceforth were sent on a musical journey and thusfar have been drinkin', thinkin', talkin', and a rockin' their way across the city of Pittsburgh and soon...THE WORLD! Whahaha!!!
Influenced by many and any types of music it is hard to put a label on Foxy Deathbox. Anything from punk, to garage, to rockabilly, and even metal fills the bill for these lades of the graves. So after over a year and a half, Foxy Deathbox is delivering with these four chickies in a rock n' roll band. What with Druscilla Mortem rocking profusely on the guitar, Erika Von Frown taking and shaking people down with her bass, Kat Radley a rat-a-tat-tattin’ on the drums, and none other than Rizzo Van Slaughterhouse ow-who-woein', Foxy Deathbox is indeed bringing the rock spirit back.

Hey! We're playing a show in Pittsburgh at the Smiling Moose on the 3rd with a good band from LA called A District of Evolution. If ya don't have nuthin' going on, come through! -Russ!
.. Hi there Foxy Deathbox first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
