About Me

I am a Wiccan, I renounced Christianity because I believe organized religions have been too currupted by individual people throughout the centuries.

I live in a HAUNTED HOUSE! Yes, a real haunted house. A woman in her 60's who was mentally impaired was brutally raped and murdered in what is now my bedroom in 2001. Her killer was caught and is currently serving life in prison. I have had several encounters with her spirit, as have numerous people who have visited me. I have written about some of these encounters in my blog, and I have some pictures in my pics. The pictures are UNEDITED, and taken with a digital camera

I have a black cat named “Bud” who came with the house. He was abandoned by the last people who lived here and I took him it. It’s been love ever since

I have a daughter, Dawna, who I gave to my aunt when she was 3 months old due to the fact that I was not and still am not in a position to give her the best life possible.

..

I really don’t like George W. Bush. He’s a liar, an idiot, and he looks an awful lot like Alfred E. Neuman.

.. ..

I believe that Gay people should have the right to get married if they want to, after all, it's none of my business, and marriage is no longer a religious institution anymore, is a government institution. Atheists get married. And don't we have a separation of church and state in this country. It's there for a reason.

Pot should be legal, it's less dangerous than alcohol and ciggarrettes, and it's a good way to relax or relieve pain, or just be able to fall asleep, I think it's the friendliest drug in the world. I am a supporter all the way:

Interests

  • General

My interests include good music, playing pool, having fun, enjoying every minute of life (it's so short)... Carpe Diem. I am also starting a new hobby, or maybe some kind of career. I have been taking pictures and editing them with Adobe Photoshop. I can come up with some pretty cool stuff, go ahead and have a look if you want to. ..
  • Music

Mostly Rock, punk, some country, a few rap songs (secret love for "Ridin Dirty", lol), Alternative, some Pop.....

  • Movies

MySpace Layouts Let's see what I have on my movie shelf...V for Vendetta, Saw, The Villiage, Sixth Sense (I love M. Night Shamalan), A bunch of Stephen King's movies including Misery, Pet Semetary, Needful Things, Tommy Knockers, ect... Meet Joe Black, From Hell, Pirates of the Carribean, Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands (I am a Johnny Depp nut too), Braveheart, The Green Mile, Natural Born Killers (directors cut mind you), Sleepy Hollow, and lots more ..
  • Television

I am one of those reality TV lovers. I like to people-watch and reality TV is the best way to do that. I'm not a big sitcom person, or TV drama person, though Law and Order and CSI are good in a pinch. I like game shows and stuff like that too. I have always been a fan of Survivor too, it's facinating to see the dynamic of all those people trying to win a million dollars, and some of the reward prizes are cool, like river rafting in Fiji or whatever the case may be. ..
  • Books

My newest love book-wise is S.M. Stirling's Emberverse series, begining with the title "Dies the Fire". This story is about an Electro Magnetic Pulse that hits the earth and changes the laws of physics in such a way that modern technology will not work anymore. Electricity, batteries, and such, explosives, such as gunpower and dynamite won't work either. So basically, in an instant, humity is reduced to swords, bows and armour, among other things. GREAT SERIES!! Just read this one and you will have to read the others. The next titles in the series are... "The Protector's War" "A Meeting at Corvallis" "The Sunrise Lands" and not yet published... "The Scourge of God" "The Sword of the Lady" and "The High King of Montival" a duology for a later period is "The Blood of the Sun" and "The given Sacrifice" I love this series so much that I don't know how I am going to stand waiting for the later books to come out. I am going to check out a couple other books by S.M. Stirling as well, because he is such a good author. More authors and books I like are, pretty much anything by Stephen King, especially his Dark Tower series, Terry Pratchett, because he is hilarious, I love British humor. Tolkien, of course. Anne Rice, everything she wrote before being re-corrupted by Catholisism. Watership Down, by Richard Adams. Neal Stephenson, excellent cyber punk author, I totally recommend anything by him, but probably the best book to start with is "The Diamond Age". Matt Ruff, another great author, though it's hard for me to think of a genre he fits in, but he's wonderful, look him up. Most historical fiction, science fiction, and fantasy genres, as long as they aren't too dry, or childish. Check out my recommendations and pass me some of your own, if you wish. ..
