Anxiety, insomnia, ancient Eastern music, strange acid trips, the decay of western civilization, and the thin line between love, hate, and hiding the body. It all just happens so fast...
Fall Out Fracture is an intricate and constantly evolving organism, striving for fascinating new ways to seamlessly weave the world's most ancient rhythms and sounds into the fabric of modern and electronic textures.
Often described with an eclectic jumble of words like visceral, sensual, and a very natural sense of insanity, Fall Out Fracture has risen from the grime of the bland musical landscape with an unmistakably new and distinctive sonic dissonance.
The debut release, the highly experimental Anxiety EP, features tabla, theremin, and thick over-driven guitars all at the same time in the six-minute doomsday epic "Surviving The End." Within the other six songs is an array of abstract layers, including a dual between tabla and drum machine, down-tempo acoustic with a hint of harmonica over tribal drum rolls, and a hypnotic urban beat, subsonic jungle rhythms, and subtle electronics pulsing beneath gritty, ethereal guitars dripping with reverb.
While the vocals are methodically restrained and passive like the neurotic calm at the center of the chaos, the lyrical themes are taboo, unnerving, sometimes even maddening. Wether delving deep into raw and bitter introspection or chanting weighty warnings about humanity's parasitic tendencies toward metaphorical cannibalism, it feels more like a conversation with a serial killer than most are comfortable with. The constant sense of instability, vulnerability, the feeling of slowly slipping off the edge, slowly burrows in and takes hold.
The main focus is the art, and art is meant to push the boundaries, stir up suppressed thoughts and feelings, bring about revolution in the self. Fall Out Fracture blurs the lines between beautiful and ugly, sacred and profane, esoteric and modern, primal and metaphysical, to discover a new truth hidden within. To let it bloom, see what it becomes. Metamorphosis or decay, each is a natural and intimate process with beauty shimmering in the macroscopic.
Fall Out Fracture is currently working on an upcoming EP and full-length album with an unclear date of release.
