We're the Frag Dolls, a team of professional girl gamers originally put together by game publisher Ubisoft to play competitively and promote their games by kicking ass both online (we <3 Xbox Live) and at events. Each one of us comes from a unique background in gaming and we're all personally involved in the industry and community. We live, breathe, and love games.
Besides having a professional relationship with Ubisoft, we take pride in contributing to the movement for acceptance of women into gaming culture. There are more women playing games than most people would expect, and more learning how to play everyday. Nonetheless, gaming is still perceived by many as a hobby for geeky, antisocial guys, and even in the game industry, products are marketed and designed with only the 13-34 year old male in mind. We look forward to the day when games are frequently designed, bought, and played by women, and we're thrilled at the prospect of helping to create that future.
