I've been writing since 1995 and have a total of 20 titles - 16 novels and 4 anthologies.
I have another exciting new romance coming to a bookstore near you on March 1, 2008 called, DESIGNED FOR PASSION! You can actually purchase a copy of DESIGNED FOR PASSION at eHarlequin.com website right now if you like. Or you can purchase a copy from Amazon.com, or in your local community wherever books are sold!
Few prejudices are meaner than the ones toward the plus-size woman. Many plus-size women are beautiful and Melodye Carter is one of these. However, long savaged by her model-thin mother and sister, she grew up with poor self-esteem.
So more about DESIGNED FOR PASSION . . . .
Melodye thought she had escaped the prison of rejection when she married, but her marriage was not a happy one. Her husband didn't want children, and when she had her twins, he turned nasty. By the time he was killed, their marriage was in tatters.
Then Melodye is enlisted to help Detective Jim Ryan, a man she knew in high school, find her husband's murderer. As they work together, Melodye and Jim discover they have something in common. Both are bitterly hurt and want nothing to do with love, but neither can resist the powerful attraction that develops between them.
I certainly hope you'll write and tell me what you did and didn't like about Melodye and Jim's story. I love hearing from you and will always answer your messages!
You can actually click here to read an excerpt of the book before you buy if you like!
Once again, I'm hosting a WONDERFUL contest with the release of DESIGNED FOR PASSION. Four 1st place winners will receive from Harry and David a gift filled with yummy boxes of fruit, candies, etc. Trust me, it is not hard to enter my contest at all. So more about me . . .
Well, I'm a very positive, low key, and down to earth person. I'm an earth lover and find most of earth's wonders fascinating! There are times that I'm quiet and seem depressed. But that is due to me withdrawing within a bit and allowing my mind the time to relax, relate, and formulate new story ideas!
Though I've been living on the East Coast for quite some time, in my heart - I'm a country woman. I was born and raised in a small Mississippi town; I later attended college in Virginia and then moved to New Orleans, a favorite US city of mine! Though it saddens me to think of what happened to that fine city and the people there during Hurricane Katrina, it's my deepest desire and prayer that the city will make a strong come back and be better than ever before! I AM A ROMANCE WRITER TO THE BONE! I have a deep and abiding love for romance because I believe it is fundamental in any life! I've been writing since 1995 and have a total of 22 titles - 18 novels and 4 anthologies. I absolutely love it when my fans and new readers write me often with suggestions, praise, and criticism -— I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR IT ALL!
