FranKo are a young four piece band from South London.
They formed in October 2007 and have already made their mark on the UK music scene, turning the heads of audiences and people in the industry. They’ve been gigging in and around London including twice at The Indig02 @ the O2 (playing to a crowd of over a thousand), The Metro (r.i.p) as part of the City Showcase, twice at The Astoria 2 (r.i.p), and also venues like The Garage, Nambucca (r.i.p) and the ULU Barfly (which is luckily still standing...)
FranKo also toured Thailand last summer, and grabbed great attention from the press and radio media, as well as appearing live on MTV. Recently they’ve been gigging in America and doing press and promo work in New York, as well as playing to a crowd of 7000 at the Crystal Palace Bowl in South East London.
Through October they’ll be working in the studio on some amazing new material for their debut album which is due out in March 2010 and then in November they go out on tour throughout the UK with Elliot Minor on The Solaris Tour! Come down to a gig and see the band live. They’ve been working with some great producers including Jim Lowe (recent producer for Stereophonics), Dario Dendi (who has worked with The Killers, Oceansize, Franz Ferdinand) and Jason Wilcock (Fightstar and You Me At Six among others). Their track ‘Night Time’ is now available in iTunes and at over 250 on-line stores worldwide.

hey guys :) you were absolutely amazing in London... tbh i can't believe you were a support act and weren't headlining.... thanks so much for commenting me back the other day... i probably wouldn't have gone if you didn't, which would've been plain stupid because it was one of the best gigs i've been to in a long while. so to sum everything up: thank you for the tickets (i'll pay for them next time you're in london so i don't have to worry about leigitimacy ;) , can't wait to see you again soon, congratulations on performing so amazingly, good luck on the rest of the tour and lots of love <3 x
