That mustachioed man-about-town you've seen with The Hold Steady, World/Inferno Friendship Society, Anti-Social Music, and more, steps up to the spotlight and salutes.
Thanks for your amazing work on my new Cd. You REALLY kicked these songs right out of the park! They sound amazing! I hope you have fun on tour and I should have a copy for you when you get back.
It was a pleasure to watch you all perform, and I'm psyched I was able to photograph you as well!! Awesome show at the Williamsburg Hall of Music! Can't wait to catch you again!! :)
Glad I got to see you over the weekend, the show was spectacular, and if I hadn't been bouncing around all over the place I would have loved to chat more. I got a big laugh out of the flyer of yours, with the floating-stache picture, and hopefully I'll make it to that show. Huzzah!
are you going to play the world/inferno show in DC on the 21st? better yet, why don't you haul down major general for the "TBA" opening slot? DC's not that far. and i think franz + wifs within walking distance of my apartment might send me through the stratosphere on joy. cheers.
i've got my new mountain goats cd on repeat, and i'm sitting here examining the cd case, and poring over the new hold steady photos, and thinking in awe of all the amazing music i may experience before year's end. wish i could be in nyc for your tuesday show but no dice. good luck in the recording studio. bests.
I fully expected this to be all glockenspiels and toothpicks and yodelling but it's not and I'm really into it! I am envious of your considerable talent. And your toothpicks. Save some CDs and 7"s for the UK!
