The Fred Roth Revue Press Release:
Seattle band Fred Roth Revue (ana-them records) Released their CD Dragon Faces at CD Baby www.cdbaby.com/fredrothrevue.
The Fred Roth Revue kicked off their live performances in 2005. Their Debut CD Dragon Faces was released in November of 2008 by Ana-Them Records.
Originally known as The Anathema Project (2001-05), The Fred Roth Revue plays a power pop style of guitar driven melodies. Fast tempos, simple songs and foot stompin' action lives here! Founding member Fred Roth (IMIJ, TAP) is the bass player and front man. Scott Griggs (The Western Shore) is the drummer and Keith Cook (Debris, Sammy Drain) plays lead guitar. Our newest member of the band, Merch DeGrasse plays rhythm guitar. Jim Knodle plays trumpet and rounds out our band. Jim has performed with Robin Holcomb, Wayne Horvitz, Dina Blade, and Lynette Westendorf to name a few.
The Fred Roth Revue is heavily influenced by bands like The Talking Heads, The Pixies and Spoon. Their live shows are a must see for any music enthusiast.
