Personally, I hate parking lots --- but we have so many of them! Sitting there, doing nothing but heating up the atmosphere, so solar parking lots! Community-sustained, secure, renewable electricity! Bonus = community jobs! All over America! So I’m back at university learning GIS to analyze each town’s paved parking areas (Greensboro NC (pop 247,000) has 10.27 square miles of it that will power over 500,000 homes (every year) if covered with photovoltaics!) and I’m starting put_a_lid_on_it …………..……….

Would we allow an invading government do this to our country? If not, why allow our own, whose sacred duty is to defend it? With wind and solar potential in abundance, why coal and such massive and irreversible carnage? What kind of an America are we passing on to our children.
The full title of this video is "The Debeautification of America-the-Beautiful", but it is "America-the-Not-So-Beautiful" now. Alternatively, it is called "John Denver weeps for West Virginia".

The only thing worse that I've seen happens in Canada, as presented in this video about the Alberta tar sands:

Hey ya,
