For Those Who Know...Productions is a house music collective based in Los Angeles. We specialize in promoting, supporting and pushing forward Deep Soulful House Music.
Established in 2002 our first chapter event featured local heroes, Robert Jouse, Lamech, Slick Dada, Patrick Wilson from S.F. and special guest Jojoflores from Montreal Canada and Gotsoul recordings.
FTWK... produce & co - produce various one - off underground events in Los Angeles. 2003 Saw our one year anniversary, featuring the very first Los Angeles performance of Legendary Vocalist KENNY BOBIEN. 2004 Saw our two year anniversary feat. Special Guest Dj Glen Underground. March 2005 saw the first official For Those Who Know... Event at the annual Winter Music Conference featuring legendary vocalist Kenny Bobien along with his wife Stephanie Cooke a legend in her own right..2005 also saw the 3 yr. Ann. event feat. our good friend Nef Nunez from N.Y. as well as a stellar New Years Eve party feat. legendary Dj / Producer Gene Hunt from Chicago. 2006 saw the 2nd annual For Those Who Know... Winter Music Conference event , with stellar live performances by K.T. Brooks, Dawn Tallmen , Michelle Weeks, and which none other than house legends Mike Clark & Glenn Underground closed out the night . 2007 saw our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY @ WMC feat. the first appearance of talented vocalist SWAYLO along with welcoming back Glenn Underground and label mate Boo Williams. 2008 Ftwk...Hosted the Echo Bravo Oasis Rising Tour Featuring Guest Dj Rob "Rekshyt" Lewis.
We also produced The Original "THERAPY" Los Angeles. Which brought Jojoflores famed night to the west coast for the first time and which at its height was taking place in multiple cities around the world.

"Not Everyone Understands House Music" If you had to describe RudyC.'s sound in one phrase it would be *SOULFUL DANCE MUSIC*Growing up in southern california he witnessed Los Angeles' underground house culture first hand, In 2002 with all these experiences under his belt he founded For Those Who Know...Productions. His first event, For Those Who Know... on Oct. 5th 2002 featured djs Jojoflores, Patrick Wilson, Lamech, Robert Jouse and Slick Dadda.
He then relocated to Montreal Canada where he worked for Jojoflores' Gotsoul Recordings and Gotsoul Productions; there he was involved Gotsoul Records, the Weekly club Therapy in Montreal and the Monthly One-off Therapy in Toronto.
In 2004 he produced his first of two shows in Miami at the Winter Music Conference, as well as it being his Professional Dj Debut.
RudyC. has had the pleasure of playing alongside some of house music's most influentual Djs and Producers such as Glenn Underground, Jojoflores, Patrick Wilson, Dj Spen, Terrance Parker, Dj Camacho , Master Kev, Stacy Kidd as well as playing with Live Performers such as Kenny Bobien, K.T. Brooks, Viola Sykes, Stephanie Cooke, Dawn Tallman, Michele Weeks and Swaylo. He has rocked dancefloors in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Mexico City, San Diego, Las Vegas and Miami.
In 2007 RudyC. was also asked by Glenn Underground to join his new record label Strictly Jaz Unit Muzic. With these credentials and passion for creating musical soundscapes and events,RudyC. has become one of L.A.'s premiere DeepSoulful House personas.
~Abdul/Dj Gp Bio~
Originating from the east coast but currently residing on the west coast, Abduls musical influences are strongly rooted in the sounds and styles of soulful music. His musical style and knowledge is much more diverse than your average House Dj. He has over a decade of experience in Djing. In this time he has been asked to play at numerous clubs,raves,beach party’s,undergrounds, and special events such as the debut of the acclaimed graff documentary Infamy.
Beginning his career in San Francisco, Abdul quickly made a name for himself as a true advocate of soulful house music. There he found himself playing at respected venues such as The Top, Paradise and Skylark to name a few. He began working for a record store named Daddys Records in Berkeley where he began working on his extensive record collection,not only collecting house, but also blues, jazz,funk,soul and hip hop. Relocating to Los Angeles, Abdul quickly found himself immersed in the house scene there. He started his own night at Tribal Café, a grassroots café where he created two nights THANG which ran on Thursdays and 2nd Sundayz which ran the second Sunday of every month.
It was during his tenor at Tribal Café where he began to meet many other house heads involved in the Los Angeles house community. As a result he had guest spots at events such as Blow Fish, Foundation, Break 4 Love, Philter, The Basement and Closer to name a few. In 2007 it was through this avenue Abdul met RudyC. The founder of For Those Who Know…Los Angeles. RudyC. Was so impressed with his style and knowledge he asked him to become a full fledged member and partner in the company. Since then the duo have continued to push and promote Soulful dance music in Los Angeles and abroad. Abdul has had the pleasure of playing in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. In 2008 he attended his first Winter Music Conference, where under the banner of Ftwk… he met many of the industry’s known Dj’s and producers. Besides co-running Ftwk…,his current other affiliations include Soul Hollywood, an A List soul food restaurant/catering/events/promotions company dealing with many of Hollywood’s elite including celebrities and entertainers.
He has recently ventured into the world of digital Djing, where under his alias Dj GP, he combines his knowledge of music with the cutting edge technology of the Dj industry to create unforgettable musical soundscapes.
