Bio:

Formed in March of 2009, Full Body Anchor is made up of local Boston musicians from past to present. Leaving our musical comfort zones to explore a new and exciting genre that most of us have not ventured before, we are in constant search to find our niche in the music world with a rich, dark & heavy sound, blended elegantly with a distinct and falsetto voice that you will never forget. Influenced by bands like: Shudder to Think, Hum, Deftones, Bjork, Silversun Pickups & Archers of Loaf (just to name a few), Full Body Anchor strives to create catchy, memorable songs that you will find yourself singing without solicitation. we not only have an unforgettable sound, but we also know the songs have just enough of a pop feel to get you hooked and wanting more. Since conception, Full Body Anchor has released a 3 Song EP in December 2009 and will be releasing another 4 Song EP (entitled "The Blackout EP") in the fall of 2010. Our live shows offer a powerful & energized performance that we hope will infuse the crowd with the band in combined excitement. Be on the lookout for Full Body Anchor at venues in your area soon.
