Full Day Affair combines rich vocals, warm accoustic flavor, and a funky modern edge to create a complex sound that will leave you wanting more. Based in St Louis, MO Full Day Affair has been playing the midwest circuit for the past 5 years. Since their beginnings as an accoustic cover band at Truman State University they have constantly been progressing their sound to push for something new. With diverse backgrounds in music the members are seemingly able to draw on any style to keep you guessing at what will come next.
Since relocating to St Louis in 2005 FDA has been privileged to play nearly every venue in St Louis from Cicero's to The Pageant to the legendary Blueberry Hill. Touring is also no stranger to this band as they have tackled a large portion of the country in support of their debut album "Approved" released in 2006 on their former record label Shock City Records. Full Day Affair has been featured on radio stations around the country including regular spins on the former 101.1 "The River" in St Louis and has also been added to the MTV music library with their music being included in the hit TV show "Next." You can currently preview and download their music on such Mp3 sites as iTunes and Napster.
After not extending their contract with Shock City in 2007 they are both excited and relieved to regain control over both thier music and operations. Future plans for Full Day Affair leave the band and their fans with a new excitement. They will soon be entering their own private studio to work on recording material for their first self produced album to be ready in 2008.
