Hongo nace como tal en el año 2000, por aquellos tiempos los componentes no estaban muy asentados todavía. Por hongo ha pasado gente de grupos como Madame Germen o SL..S3. El primer concierto de Hongo fue en el año 2002 en A Coruña (Bar Egeo) junto con Sl..S3 y Beltain, en aquellos tiempos tocaba Mejuto (madame germen e ictus) la batería, David (SL..S3)la guitarra, Ernesto la otra guitarra, Barrós (SL..S3, Destierro y Asfixia) el bajo y Diego los gritos . Posteriormente la formación cambió de batería y la pasó a tocar Ivan (Nashgul) y se incorporó una nueva voz al grupo Emilio, con los que grabamos nuestro primer proyecto en el año 2004 en los estudios Bonham de A Coruña. Pasado el tiempo, se incorpora Ruben (Black Panday Madame Germen) a tocar el bajo. Hongo hemos realizado varias giras por diversas ciudades del estado y por diversas ciudades de Europa. Ahora acabamos de grabar nuestro segundo proyecto: “Formas de Vida que se Precipitan hacia su Destrucción” en los estudios Bonham de A Coruña.
Con este nuevo proyecto, intentamos exponer nuestras mas sinceras conclusiones ante unas pautas y comportamientos de la humanidad, incitadas por unos mecanismos de desenvolvimiento de interacción social (y todo, lo que ello conlleva, véase por ejemplo sociabilidad, economia, trabajo, ocio y diversión, sufrimiento,satisfacción, guerras, estadísticas de natalidad y/o de mortalidad, muertes, muertes y más muertes…) que deberían inexistir, utilizados para alcanzar el tan ansiado estado de bienestar…a que precio?…a costa de qué y de cuántos?

Hongo was born in 2000. With Hongo have played people of bands like Madame Germen or SL.S3. The first show of Hongo was in 2002 in A Coruña (Bar Egeo) whit Sl.S3 and Beltain, in those times Mejuto was the drummer (Madame Germen and Ictus) David (SL.S3) played the guitar, Ernesto the other guitarist, Barros (SL.S3, Destierro and Asfixia) was the bassist and Diego was the singer. Later Iván (Nashgul) began to play drums and Emilio began to sing with Diego. We recorded our first project in 2004 at Bonham Studios of A Coruña. Later, Ruben (Black Panda and Madame Germen) began to play the bass guitar with us. Hongo have made several tours by diverse cities of the state and diverse cities of Europe. Now we have just finished the recording of our second project: “Life forms that precipitate towards their destruction” at Bonham Studios (A Coruña).
With this new project, we try to expose our sincere conclusions to humanity’s guidelines and behaviours, urged by mechanisms of development of social interaction (and everything which it involves for example sociability, economy, work, suffering, wars, deaths, deaths and more deaths…) that shouldn’t exist, used to reach the so longed-for well-being state… at all costs?… at the expense of what and how many?
