    Funk & Gonzo is a hyper band who likes the fans who feel it enough to dance from start to end. When the song ends, don't worry we'll start up again, just put on your grin and we'll begin again. Funk & Gonzo is a group of five musicians from Salt Lake City, UT. Our style is ultimately considered "rap/rock", but we're also heavily influenced by jazz, reggae, blues and many other styles of music. Our message, energy and mix of musical style is what sets Funk & Gonzo apart from any other band with lyrics that promote positive energy, being one with everything including yourself, your community, the environment and the universe.

  • Influences

    Carefully blending together many elements of sound, five musicians from Salt Lake City, Utah have created a medley of rock/hip-hop and have turned it into a group that they call Funk & Gonzo. Dallas Chaffin and Paul Wells are the rhythmic back bone of this musical organism, laying down some heavy drum and bass. While Landon Coleman and Jeremy Mower set up to satisfy your soul with punchy guitar lines and smooth solos. Front man Eric Pehrson is the final piece of the puzzle with hip-hop lines and angelic vocals that are sure to make you think twice! Playing such a wide and diverse style of music; it wouldn't make a difference if Funk & Gonzo played a bar or a sweet 16. Eyes and ears of all listeners young and old are sure to be pleased with the sound and performance these five fun loving, energetic, instrumentalists put on for their audience!
