Mr. Krime or dj Krime,(Wojtek Długosz) born in 1978 in Krakow Poland-dj, turntablist, musician, producer, record collector, music lover, from birth was deeply immersed in music and creativity. His musical journey started in the tender age of 7, when he went to music school to learn about music and study violines and piano for over 12 years. In the early 90's inspired by the early hip hop stuff like RUn DMC (Jam Master Jay) and his older Brother (MK Fever) started to mess around with the turntables, becoming one the pioneers of the polish turntablism movement, he practiced hard on the decks and earned a few titles in the turntablitsts competitions- 2x Vestax Extravaganza Eastern Europe Champion (2001, 2002) ITF Poland Champion (2003)
Nowadays Krime is being considered for one of the most remarkable personalities on the Polish dj scene, he's known for his great skills and musical feeling. Seeing himself more as a musician than dj, and fascinated with genres like jazz, funk. soul hip hop (and more ;-) Krime is cooperating with other musicians trying to establish the turntable as a musical instrument.
Ofcourse You can catch him in the clubs spinnig jazz, funk, soul, hip hop, brazil and latin music, reggae, hip hop and whatever is good :-) NO CURRENT HITS OR JIGGY BULLSHIT ONLY QUALITY PROOF MUSIC!
During the years Krime perfomed in many countries like Germany, Ireland, England, Sweden, Czech Republic, Izrael, Russia, and ofcourse all over Poland.
He supported or shared stage with acts like Soul 2 Soul, RUN DMC, dj Qbert, The Scratch Perverts, Marc Hype, MoreCheeba, The X Ecutioners, Goldie, dj Vadim, Cold Cut, Killa Kela, Afrikaa Baambaata just to name a FEW.
Krime also played/coperated with some of the Polish (and not Polish) great jazz musicians like :
Sławek Jaskułke, Joachim Mencel, Krzysztof Dziedzic, Piotr Wyleżoł, Krzysztof Pacan, Karim Martusewicz, Jorgos Skolias, Arek Skolik, Jarosław Smietana, Robert Kubiszyn, Harry Tanschek, STeve Logan(r.i.p), Cornelius Claudio Kreusch, Jerzy Małek, Aga Zaryan, Adam Kowalewski, Wojtek & Jacek Fedkowicz and many many more :-)
Krime is also cooperating with Poland's no 1 skratcher dj Eprom.
Together with his friends dj Daniel Drumz and piano virtuozo Jim Dunloop Krime is part of the MAKO BOKO crew!
