Mary (DJ Fusion) & The FuseBox Radio Broadcast's Interests
General
DJing, Reading, Listening to Music, Having Good Eats & Drinks of all sorts (its good to like eating, I think....), Traveling, Studying History, Talking & Hanging with Family and Friends (which really should be interchangable - a good friend IS a member of the family, just not blood), Hanging out w/ Cool People, Just Having Different Life Experiences, etc.

Music
The FuseBox Radio Broadcast (and myself) likes just about everything musically (from DC GoGo Music, to the Ramones to Bad Brains to Scarface to MF Doom to Masters at Work to Nas), as long as the artist puts some effort into it (you can tell when music is sub-par and folks are doing it just because, no feeling, you know what I mean?).
My personal top choices for music to chill and listen to are Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Classics & House.
Tougher Then Leather (RUN DMC - what?!?), Wild Style, Fear of a Black Hat, Hairspray, QDIII Beef DVD Series, The Corporation, Brother Minister (about the assassination of Malcolm X), Just about anything in Black Cinema, any hot Kung Fu joint (esp. those w/ Jet Li, Bruce Lee and Shaw Brothers Series joints), Steel Magnolias (my number one 1 "girl-ly" movie of all time...), Stormy Weather, Cleopatra Jones, Carmen Jones, Cool Hand Luke & a lot of other movie joints I can't think of right now....
Television
History Channel/PBS/A&E/Discovery Channel/CNN Type of Documentaries, Music Shows & Performances, most stuff that's on TV Land/Nick At Nite Now (since they are showing 1980s and early 1990s joints now besides the REAL old school...scary) and a bit of junk/reality TV to watch something silly (Top Chef, Flavor of Love and its 1 million spinoffs, etc.)....other things will be updated as they come to mind. :)
Books
Autobiography of Malcolm X, Immortal Birth (about the history of the Nation of Gods and Earths aka 5%), White Noise, Art of War, The Spook Who Sat by the Door, The Rough Guide to Conspiracy Theories, Rakim Told Me (interviews with creators of classic Hip-Hop albums), Maus, X-Men Comic Books, Autobiography of Quincy Jones, To Afghanistan and Back, The Rough Guide to Hip-Hop 2nd Edition, Knock the Hustle, The Rough Guide to Jazz, The Rough Guide to Reggae and WAY WAY More Books I Can't Think of Right Now....

MINI-BIOGRAPHY OF DJ FUSION & THE FUSEBOX RADIO BROADCAST (UPDATED: July 2009):
Umm, OK....I'm DJ Fusion (real name: Mary Nichols), a short (5 feet tall even), above average looking (I think at least a "B", even if a low one....) African-American female DJ who is a graduate of Rutgers University (c/o 2001; Rutgers College) with a degree in American Studies and a minor in History.
I'm a Radio, Mixtape & Club DJ, with my main music focus being in the genres of Hip-Hop, Breakbeats, Reggae, Funk, Acid Jazz, Soul, House, Disco, DC GoGo, Electronica, Rock and Classics - Black Music in general, both independent and mainstream.
Since its foundation in 1998 - when I created the show as an undergraduate student at Rutgers University - New Brunswick in New Jersey - the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast has been around to expose the absolute BEST of Hip-Hop & Soul Music from all over the world (and Black Music in general) along with bringing quality interviews, news, and commentary. Along with fellow co-host/DJ/Producer/Partner Jon Judah (added on as part of the FuseBox Radio crew in 2004), we try our best to stick to that mission and bring great sounds, vibe and content to the masses - what Black Radio (not "Urban Radio") was/is all about.
From it's roots at Rutgers University Radio (WRSU 88.7 FM), the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast is a 3 hour mixshow that has spread to the following internet radio stations and outlets (as of July 2009):

Under the business, FuseBox Media LLC, I also engage freelance article writing for various Internet and paper publications and do various music projects (music production, mixtape hosting & production, etc.).
The official blog of the FuseBox Radio Broadcast was established in October of 2007, BlackRadioIsBack.com (http://www.BlackRadioisBack.com).
