“It is not often that, in the history of Eurosonic, a band from Lithuania makes their appearance. And if Fusedmarc is a sample of what is happening in this country nowadays, then we may only hope that more bands from this region will make the step forward. Fusedmarc makes exciting electronic multimedia music. Shame though that the visuals, which are an import element of the gig, was nested near the stage. But the music stood as a house, somewhat dark electronics with the voice of Cilia more used as instrument. Billed as "one of the most interesting musical projects in Baltic States" they make up for that completely. Not signed at the moment, but that will not take long after this gig at Eurosonic. Highly recommended for the electronic music lovers among us.”
“There’s no overstatement in dubbing this Vilnius-based band formed in 2004 the most important act of the Baltics with a potential to give the creeps with their fresh tunes and world-standard show to any audience all over the globe. The band fusing electronica with acoustic instruments, creating labyrinth-like sound flow-compositions, pairing digital sounds with spontaneous live actions all complete with visual accompaniment is a popular participant of electronic festivals by now and hopefully this will not be their last gig in Budapest.“
“Man I am excited. I was speaking at a conference in Vilnius, Lithuania and was checking out bands to offer constructive critique on a panel and much to my pleasant surprise I fall in love with a band that blew me away. A mixture of Mogwai, Björk, Sigur Ros and Pink Floyd. Brilliant energy. The live show was astounding!”
“Fusedmarc is one of the most interesting musical projects in all Baltic countries with no doubt. Magical and charming voice, non-stop nerve hitting guitar effects, streams of groovebox coming from the depths of electronic sea and visuals full of strangest feelings part of which is available at releases; virtual gallery. All this eclectic combination is followed by the energy that comes from live drums - it does not leave a single possibility to change the rate of your heartbeat. This music evolves in the manner of plastic lightness and is pulsating with energy at the same time. Critics are already calling it the most talented in Lithuania. It reflects the best moods of Björk, Massive Attack, Portishead and other super talents that offer diving into deeper level of personal fantasies. Every song is like materializing an individual model of life. Singer who is rolled into trance is showing the way to the inside. In spite of the fact that this band is pretty young it already managed to take worthy place in the musical scene of Eastern Europe”
