The Future Disciple is one of the most exciting people in dance music today At just 26, Dan James is the genius behind Future Disciple and the amazing live sets he performs. In 2006 playing record after record doesnt cut it the Future Disciple has taken it to the next level. Dan sets up his entire studio at clubs and events with banks of keyboards, drum machines and twinkling LEDs, and plays half an hour of 100% live trance. Imagine its 3am in the club its been rocking all night and the room is dark, hot, steamy and filled with smoke. The Future Disciple steps up to the stage and the club falls silent with expectation. Dan plays a couple of euphoric chords on the huge Roland at the front of the stage and the crowd roars as he steps up to a drum machine and expertly hammers out some break beat to kick start the set. Over the next 30 minutes the crowd will experience something theyve never seen in a club before and will go away amazed, as the crowds were at Peach (Camden Palace, London), Distortion (Mission, Leeds), The Doncaster Dome, Freedom (Winter Gardens), gatecrasher sundi, Tranz@ction, Sundissential, Boshed, Deviant, Fixation, Hardcore Heaven Weekender. and loads more. He was the first ever live dance act to play live on Londons kiss fm network, on graham golds show, and the only person to date, to play a live pa on galaxy fm networks , also not to mention he featured on the pilot show of Galaxy NEW BREED driven by Andy Durrant & Nick Riley.
Dans first break into the music industry was his bootleg of "Axel F". It was Brandon Blocks track of the month in the Daily Star 2 months in a row. This exposure bought him to the attention of Kickin Records and Dan was then signed to Haripa Music Publishing as the Future Disciple. With his incredible production and writing skills he went on to remix for Deep Dish, Chiller Twist, Peace Division, Ethan, Solex, Si Paul and Fatkid. with a discography as long as hims arms and legs, and signed to many labels accross the globe.
He has also worked with numerous big name DJ's in his studio "Hive Studio's". Future Disciple will amaze any crowd he plays for. He will ROCK any clubs he plays at! Future Disciple IS the future of dance music!
