Fuze is a modern electric jazz-rock band that creates all original songs and spontaneous improvisations. The sounds coming from this band can range from rock and blues to jazz and funk and many other influences that the band draws on as they create in real-time. Each player is versatile and a multi-instrumentalist allowing them to always find new territories to explore using keyboards, synth guitars, various percussion, and whatever else is at hand.
In addition to their live jamming and improvisations, the band also writes instrumental songs and records their own music in a modern studio of professional quality. This gives them the freedom to always be creating new music without getting bogged down by going into someone elses studio. The studio has become an extension of their instruments. In 2002, the band release DiG, a self-produced CD with a collection of their best studio songs. In 2005, there was a member changeup with Craig moving to bass and Dave joining on lead guitar.
In early 2007, the band released a CD called "Best of Saturday Night Jams 2005-2006" which is a collection of some of the greatest improvisations from the weekly jam session that is now available as a Podcast (Subscribe below) as well as an online Archive.
In 2008, the band released "Pop Fuze", their second full length studio release. The CD is a collection of the more radio friendly written songs in contrast with the improvised sounds the band also does. The CD was recorded and mixed at the band's own Online Bands Studio and was mastered by Bob Katz.
The Band has had great success promoting their music to a world audience through the use of internet technology and are best known for their weekly live audio webcast called the Saturday Night Jam which have been going since 1999 and still continue strong.
