東京を中心に活動するオルタナティブロックバンド、ガジェット。

その音楽スタイルは、Jane's Addiction、Smashing Pumpkins、Alice in Chainsといったバンドの文脈上にあたる、heavy metal、psychedelia、post punk等のハイブリッド。
脳裏にこびりつくようなリフとノイズ。 叙情的でありながらサイケデリックに浮遊するメロディ。 トライバルにうねるグルーブ。あくまでパンキッシュなステージング。 オルタナティヴロック本来の雑食性を受け継ぎ、コアな音楽性ながら広い支持層を獲得している。 インターネットを通じ世界中にカルトなファンベースを築き、2008年には初のヨーロッパツアーを実現。2009年4月にはフランスの大型フェス、Le Printemps de Bourgesへの出演、パリでもっともプレステージの高いホールと言われるL'Olympiaでの公演を含めたツアーを成功させる。

目下、正式世界流通第一作目となる新作アルバムを制作中。


"gadget." is an alternative rock band from Tokyo.
The members are... KENZOW(Vo.+Gt.), MARCHERRY(Ba.+Cho.), JUN-PEI(Gt.), Nanka(Ds.+Cho.). The music style is in the vein of bands like Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins. Hybrid of heavy metal, psychedelia and post punk. But the charactaristic of the band is better explained as a cambination of the riffs that stick to your brain, the melody that floats emortionally and yet psychedelically, the groove winds beneath it all in a tribal manner, and the primarily punk-ish stage performance. Carrying on the omnivorous nature of alternative rock, they've acquired the support of broad audience.
While they play gigs mainly at underground events in Tokyo, they have established their cult fan base world wide through internet.
This led them to their first Europe tour with Dead Sexy Inc. and Toxic Sonic in November 2008.
In April 2009, they made the come back for second Europe tour including shows at the Le Printemps de Bourges and L'Olympia in France.

At present, they are working on their new album which will be the first album to be officially distributed world wide.
