SOUNDS LIKE *REAL* ROCK’N’ROLL!!
Keep our page open on your browser and listen for a while... and if you like what you hear, subscribe! It’s easy (and free)! In fact, even if you don’t want to subscribe to the network as a whole, you can subscribe to individual shows. To find out the RSS feed of your favorite show, contact the show host. You can find most in our Top Friends section here or on the GaragePunk Hideout.
The GaragePunk Podcast network is a daily (M-F) music podcast that is the ONLY one of its kind in the entire world. It was launched on August 14th, 2005 on GaragePunk.com to give fans of REAL rock'n'roll a new and groundbreaking way of receiving a loose, rotating schedule of unique, home-produced, low-budget "radio" shows that feature garage rock, freak beat, psych, proto punk, power pop, punk rock, frat rock, pub rock, swamp rock, rockabilly, surf, soul, R&B, broken blues, new wave/no wave, noise, and other styles of trashy, primitive rock'n'roll (old AND new) as well as B-movie reviews, music news, silly commentary, stupid jokes, retarded sound bites, and much more.
You! Call and leave us a voicemail message and maybe we'll include it on one of our podcasts:

BANDS:
We had to turn off accepting friend requests from bands because we were simply getting way too many requests from bands we had no interest in (emo, hip hop, metal, mallpunk... you get the idea)! It was getting way out of hand and there were several pages of them showing up DAILY! Ugh... So, if you want us to add your band, keep reading. We're only interested in adding bands that play music like what you'll find on our podcasts (garage rock, budget rock, trashy punk, proto punk, swamp rock, noisy new wave, surf, hot rod, frantic rockabilly, greasy R&B, frat rock, mod, freakbeat, psychedelic, powerpop, one-man bands, broken blues, demented country, primitive rock'n'roll, outsider music, etc.), so if you're some kind of metal/nu metal, hard rawk, emo, alternative, "indie rock," "modern rock," grunge, pop punk, cover/tribute band, or play some other style of music we don't feature on our shows, then please do us a favor and get lost! If you're not sure if your band would fit in with what we do, try listening to some of our podcasts first! If you don't hear other bands that play the same kinda style your band does, then we're probably not gonna be interested. Get a clue! Also, any bands wanting to get "podplay" on any of our shows are asked to please join the Podsafe Music Network first (See our Top Friends below), and upload your songs there. Please don't ask us for an address to send your CD or demo! Just register your band on the PMN and stick your songs up there for us (it's FREE!), and then send us a message asking us to check out your music and add us. Got it? Great. Thanks.

Hey Cool thanks for the link to the ultra-neat GONN film, The Thanes had the pleasure of playing out in Italy back in 2000 with Craig Moore's Gonn, not the orig. guys, but with Rudi P, and Massimo of Others / Misty Lane. And The Chocolate Watch Band too, tho we missed most of their set. Cheers and best in fuzz jangle and clash - Lenny, of The Thanes...and The Wildebeests
