Grup Seçkin Sarpkaya ve Soykan Aydin tarafindan 18 Ocak 2005 tarihinde kuruldu.Ilk kuruldugu andan itibaren basta Izmir olmak üzere Türkiye'nin çesitli yerlerinde önemli konser ve festivallerde yer aldi.Bu süre içerisinde 2 adet demo(Storm Behind The Gate ve A New Level) yayinlayan grup kisa süre içerisinde kayitlarini tamamladigi debut albümü "Man in Fire" i piyasaya sürecektir.Grubun tarzi Isveç death/metalcore olarak geçmektedir. Grup çiktigi konserlerden 22 Ocak 2006 tarihli Izmir konserinde yapilan oylama ile seyirci tarafindan günün en iyi grubu seçilip hediye olan bas gitari kazanmistir.Yine ayni sene içindeki 18 Mart Istanbul Kemanci'da gerçeklesen Kentrock fest organizasyonunda Serdar Öztop ile sahne alan grup bu konserden bir vidyosu ile "Live Chaos DVD Comp"da yer almistir.Grup geçen sene yayinladigi "No Concession" parçasi ile "Zor 11 Comp Album"de yer almis ve ayni yil "www.metaltr.net" sitesinde yapilan ankette "Yilin En Iyi Konser Grubu" ünvanini almis ayni ankette grubun basçisi da "Yilin En Iyi Bas Gitaristi" ünvanini almistir.Son olarak da grup "www.anatolianrock.com"da "En Çok Takipçi Sayisina Sahip Gruplar" listedindeki tek metal grubu olmasi ile de dikkat çekmektedir.

Group "Gates Of Eternity" was found by Seçkin Sarpkaya and Soykan Aydin in 18 january 2005.Group has been taking part of concerts and festivals including Izmir and a kind of Turkey's cities since it founded.in this time,the group has released two demos ( storm behind the gate and a new level) and will publish their debut album " man in fire" whose record was finished in a short time. gates of eternity 's genre is called 'swedish deatl metal/metalcore. group has won the bass guitar as the best group of a day with votes of audience in 22 january 2006 when they were in their Izmir concert.In the same year they took a stage with serdar öztop in Istanbul kemanci concert Kentrock festival organization in 18 march, and they took a part in "live chaos dvd comp." with this concert's video.gates of eternity released "no concession" last year and this song took a part in "zor 11 comp. album" and in the same year the group was chosen "the best concert group of the year" in the www.metaltr.net's poll. In the same poll özgür demir was chosen "the best bass guitarist of the year". lastly,the group attracts attention to be only metal group in the www.anatolianrock.com's "the group have most follower" .
