The true identity of a band can be found in the pages of their history. In some cases it even pre-dates the origin of the group. For GUILT by ASSOCIATION, its a history that reaches back ten years and continues to write itself today.

The four members of GUILT by ASSOCIATION: JD, Britt, Sean, and Jake have all dealt with the adversities of music life and have chosen to persevere on their path of creativity and artistry. They have also had their fair share of personal triumphs which has given them the ability to write style-clashing hard rock with a distinct voice. However, this is not to say that they are intending on limiting the future of their music in any way, but hoping to expand upon this foundation and explore the full extents of their respective talents.

Line-up changes, musical exploration, identity crisis and differences aside, the music of GUILT by ASSOCIATION will always evolve. At the root of everything that is good and evil in a band, there is that which is most important; the music.

The truth of their evolution as a band and as musicians is as unique as all of our evolution as individuals and as humans. That truth is the message that can be found in the purpose of their music, the intention of their words and the humanity they display at every show with their fans, family, and friends by their sides.

From Trial and Error to Living in Silence there was a unique sound that developed with Guilt by Association; creating spacious arrangements with rigid melodies that helped the band establish a place in the rock and metal communities, respectively. Today, their sound has advanced into more accessible version of themselves. With their new EP CHAPTER 1: END OF STORY, set to release in June 2009, they have once again put a new dent in breaking into the industry with their sound.
