Then there I was, standing face to face with Gary Shider!!! How many hits has this man written? LOL. At times, I felt like I was dreaming, then I would snap out of it and realize... "NO, THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!" lol. And Poo-Poo Man ALWAYS brings it! LOL. Good seeing P-Nut Johnson also, I always feel like... "Yeah, this is REALLY P-Funk" when I see him on stage. And MAN! Those girls next to me were WORKING RonKat for his boots! LOL. It's good to see him in there paying his P-Funk dues. I was just blown away by EVERYONE!
However, the thing was: Lehman Center For The Performing Arts is an official theater, lol. The next performers at Lehman Center are the "VIRSKY UKRAINIAN NATIONAL DANCE COMPANY", lol. Therefore, everyone's ticket had him or her assigned to a very specific seat (...luckily mine was front row center right, lol), so it was really hard to generate a lot of energy when half the house was seated at any given time. Moreover, the seats were very comfortable, lol. So at times, even I was sitting there, sort of mesmerized by what all was going on in front of me on stage, getting lost in the buzz of the moment, like I was watching it on TV, before I'd realize: "Hey wait a minute! Get UP!!! This is P-Funk!!!!” LOL.
I'm used to either seeing P-Funk in a nightclub or arena setting. Therefore, that's why last night's show presented me with a real dichotomy. It was the best experience I've ever had, in that I felt the most connected with everyone on stage. Nevertheless, at the same time the venue was "unusual", lol.
How would I rate the time I had at the Lehman Center last night on a scale of 1 - 10? TEN!!! Thanks so much George, for everything. Live long & prosper!

Mu (a.k.a the son of cherished Imam Luqman Abdullah of Detroit, MI)
I am reaching out to the community to help the son of Imam Luqman Abdullah, Detroit, who was brutally gunned down and shot 18 times by the FBI on unjustified grounds. They are now pursuing his son through smeared media campaigns and criminal allegations. Some of you may know him through his work in the music industry over the last 10 years and his father through decades of service to the less fortunate in the Detroit comunity and around the nation. This is a disgusting display of what the government and media are doing to the Muslims, African Americans and the less fortunate in America. Please visit the link below, show your support, forward it...and donate what you can. Let us help this brother and disallow yet another injustice by the American system. May Allah (God) reward you for your contribution and support.

Review: "Don Goliath's "Bagstep EP" (DDR030) is one of those innovative EPs showcasing how versatile Dubstep can get. The unique idea of creating Dubstep versions of celctic (Irish as well as Scottish) folk classics for all you drunkards longing to sing along was Don Goliath's motto when producing this madness. The concept is as simple as effective: he picked 4 of your grandpa's favourites such as "Old Skibbereen", "Scotland the Brave", "Drunken Sailor" and "Amazing Grace" having the melody played by a definitly non-sober Bagpipe section and then layering it with lofi mid range wobbleism - we therefor call it Bagstep. Overall production quality is high grade with that intense sub focus so you can blow-dry your hair right in front of the bass bins. Now let's get into the tunes: "Skibbereen Bagstep" is one of the melancolic minor tunes expressing Irish history as it is. It is an unmixable 3/4 waltz beat at unusual 154bpm, well dancebal though when one moves to the triplets. "Bagstep the brave" should be one of the sickest rebuilds of the Scottish national anthem making it Mel Gibson's signature tune if he had one. "Drunken Bagstep" is a Glitchfest version of the sailors anthem capable of getting you uberdrunk by listening alone, Arrrr! "Amazing Bagstep" is as religious as it gets making it a tune that'll certainly safe xamounts of lost souls. Enjoying the dancefloor got even easier now: drink out the bar, make your skirt fly and sing along to these (future) classics! Some will hate this release and some will love it, there barely is anything in between. All Dubstep Division crew salutes the latter as our fellow beerheadz! cheeeeeerz!"
