My LJ is here
I have my picture in the first major fashion article about steampunk, here. You can find the photo gallery here. I'm the tall, skinny guy in the red coat and black vest.
I have been quoted in
an article on steampunk in the San Francisco Chronicle, which also references my writing.
I am a history graduate student, presently in the middle of pursuing two Masters degrees. Within two or three years I hope to be in the PhD program at Yale, again studying history.
In addition to being a full-time student, I am also a published author. I write in a wide range of genres including historical fiction, pulp adventure, vintage weird, steampunk, modern fantasy, science fiction (often with historical allusions), conspiracy, mystery, suspense and horror. At the moment, I have received the most attention for my steampunk works, although they are only one portion of my writing portfolio.
My dark steampunk and vintage weird detective story, "The Strange Case of the All-Seeing Ear" is currently being published in a serial format by The Willows Magazine. The six-part serial will be present in each of this year's six issues of the magazine. In addition, my short story "Sofia Athanatos" was published by The Willows last November.
I have another serial novel, "An Unfortunate Engagement," being published in Steampunk Magazine.
In my spare time, I master in history, forbidden knowledge from beyond the stars, and plucking the wings from little green fairies. Cocktail, anyone?
