Barcelona, 1984. Inicia els estudis de Cant amb 13 anys amb la cantant Núria Tomàs, amb qui descobreix el jazz. Estudia llenguatge musical i harmonia a la mateixa escola. Després d’una breu pausa en els seus estudis musicals, i havent començat a participar en grups musicals amateurs, comença Tècnica Vocal amb Sandra Ortega, amb qui aprèn durant 4 anys. Participa en diversos Tallers i Master Classes a càrrec d’Emmanuel Djob, Sharon Jones, Monica Green, Didier Likeng, Kathy Autrey, Luciana Souza i Romero Lubambo, entre d’altres. Com a professional, comença a treballar als 16 anys com a cantant a Ivanow Jazz Group, i ja als 18, entra en una banda de gospel de Barcelona, The Gospel Train, amb qui té l’oportunitat de desenvolupar l’estil gospel i el cant amb cor i comença a col·laborar amb grans figures del gospel europeu, com Emmanuel Djob, Didier Likeng, Kathy Autrey or Leslie Bee. No és, però, fins un parell d’anys més tard, quan té l’oportunitat de treballar directament amb aquests reconeguts cantants de gospel: amb Djob en el grup The Black & White Xperience, reconeguts i sol·licitats majoritàriament a França, Espanya, Itàlia, Còrsega o Sicília; i esporàdicament en els espectacles de la impactant Autrey. Alhora que ha anat movent el seu propi trio de jazz, ha participat com a solista convidada en d’altres formacions com Dani Alonso Trio, Barcelona Swing Serenaders, els cors de gospel Twocats pel Gospel, Cor de Gospel de Gràcia i Cor Jove Zetzània, The Lord’s Messengers, Barcelona Jazz Orquestra, The Blackbirds, Toni Solà Quartet, Oriol Romaní & Ignasi Terraza Trio i Les Deux Guitares Trio, entre les més importants, així com també ha compartit escenari amb músics com Xavi Reija, Vicenç Solsona, Abel Boquera o Dave Mitchell. Així, amb tan sols 22 anys, ha estat damunt l’escenari amb grans figures de l’escena catalana, però també ha començat la seva projecció internacional participant com a solista en festivals de jazz d’Holanda i Alemanya, convidada per el trompetista alemany Herbert Christ, on ha tingut l’oportunitat de tocar amb músics de la talla de Leroy Jones, Bernard “Bunchy” Johnson, David Blenkhorn o Lillian Boutté. Com a corista ha treballat amb la cantant de gospel Kathy Autrey, el cantant de hip-hop Aqeel i el cantautor Rafa Pons. També ha treballat eventualment en la grabació de jingles per a la ràdio i realització de música per a películ·les infantils.

Barcelona, 1984. She started studying Singing at the age of 13 with the singer Núria Tomás, who made her discover Jazz music. She studied Musical Language and Harmony at the same school. After a short pause in her musical studies, and after having started to take part of non-professional musical bands, she started Vocal Technique with Sandra Ortega, with who’s been learning during 4 years. She has participated in different Workshops and Master Classes of Emmanuel Djob, Sharon Jones, Monica Green, Didier Likeng, Kathy Autrey, Luciana Souza and Romero Lubambo. As a professional, she started working at the age of 16 as a vocalist of Ivanow Jazz Group, and then at 18 she joined a gospel band from Barcelona, The Gospel Train, where she had the opportunity of developing the gospel style and the choir singing and she started col·laborating with important figures on the European gospel scene, like Emmanuel Djob, Didier Likeng, Kathy Autrey or Leslie Bee. It was not after two years later when she had the opportunity of working directly with these recoginzed gospel singers: with Djob in the band The Black & White Xperience, well-known and mainly demanded in France, Spain, Italy, Corsica or Sicily; and sporadicly in the shows of the spectacular Autrey. While she’s been moving her own jazz trio, she has collaborated as a guest soloist in other groups like Dani Alonso Trio, Barcelona Swing Serenaders, gospel choirs like Twocats pel Gospel, Cor Gospel de Gràcia and Cor Jove Zetzània, the Lord’s Messengers, Barcelona Jazz Orchestra, The Blackbirds, Toni Solà Quartet, Oriol Romaní & Ignasi Terraza Trio and Les Deux Guitares Trio, and by chance having the honour of playing with musicians like Xavi Reija, Vicenç Solsona, Abel Boquera or Dave Mitchell. And so, at the young age of 22, she’s been on stage with outstanding figures on the catalan scene, but also starting her international sway participating as a soloist in jazz festivals from Netherlands and Germany, invited by the German trumpet player Herbert Christ, where she had the chance of singing with such great musicians like Leroy Jones, Bernard “Bunchy” Johnson, David Blenkhorn or Lillian Boutté. As a background vocalist she has worked with the gospel singer Kathy Autrey, the hip-hop & R’n’B singer Aqeel, and the spanish songwriter Rafa Pons. Eventually, she’s been working in recording radio jingles and occasionally in music for children’s movies.
