Geoff!
and all sorts of fantactical people who he meets and convinces that it would be jolly to fun to get up and play or be in a play with, or form a band with. Im going to name some of them very soon
Influences
The Who, The Beach Boys, Harry Nilsson, Bonzo Dog Band, Gene Vincent, Eddy Cochrane, Buddy Holly. The Beatles, Old 20s 30s music. The Sweet, The Move, and all the fantactic local band who I will not name as Im bound to leave out someone, or put the wrong person 3rd and then....
Sounds Like
Sounds like, a young ruffian strumming vulgarly on a dubious instrument for the apparent merriment of a bunch of rascals. Its pop for the under 60s and rock for the over the 40s Its the jazz in the dark and the county the next morning. It here! its now!, its it time for a tunnocks tea cake, its loose, its tight and its going to snap.

Hello Mr Gatt, I must meet with you soon, as I will have a copy of the film later on in the week. After much work it is finally ready. Your Oscar will also be in the post :) Ruth
Being the old fashioned hippies that we are,The Vals are giving away a free download of new release 'Yesterday Today',as we think all music should be free......
This four piece have gone from strength to strength since their inception, with a slot at May 1st’s Gifted to prove it. At Clements this week Ciara and Ronan shall be performing one of those “stripped down acoustic sets” that we at Clements Acoustic specialize in…
In case you didn’t know, Sweetcorn is Camel Hartley, a solo female singer-songwriter who specializes in “sweet and corny songs”. She recently played with Geoff Gatt at the Empire’s charity fundraiser for the Clarke Clinic, sharing the bill with Rachel Austin and The Lowly Knights to name but a few!
This gig is to raise money for the Theatre Knights' performance of Reservoir Cats, an all-female version of Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs which will be performed in Belfast's The Black Box from 13th-16th May. The play will in turn be donating profits to the Belfast Rape Crisis Centre which has been in danger of closure since the Government withdrew funding.
i'm *reading this really swell guns n roses biography at the minute, and i was tickled to discover that g n'r played under the pseudonym fargin bastydges for a time after first signing to geffen. geffen didn't likethe frequency with which they played in LA and wanted them to create a mystique by playing less. but whne they didn't play, they just took drugs and had no reason to live.
that's why we're playing knights twice in one week!
fargin bastydges is a BRILLIANT band name - don't you think?
Mel Wiggins "Mel Wiggins is an artful and gifted singer and songwriter. Her ability to perform a diverse and inspiring range of music is only rivalled by her stunning lyricism. Her best work is undoubtedly the songs that she writes and sings as a heartfelt and well-thought-through response to some of the world's most horrific situations of injustice." Drifting Waves
“Drifting Waves, as the name suggests, is a fluid musical project, sometimes it's stripped down to the very bare bones of one man and a guitar and gently laps at the shore and at other times its built up to break and crash! The sound is soulful acoustic with a bit of an edge sometimes, that hits you somewhere and says something to you when you least expect it to - that's the aim anyway and that's what [they] are striving to do.“
Yea! I'm excited that we'll get to hang out again. I'll be in town from February 29th to March 7th, so I'll definitely track you down at some point while I'm there.
Hope you are doing well, and having a good Christmas season.......i wanted to let you know that i'm coming to Belfast on Dec. 29th to play at The Errigle Inn.
I'm bringing a band called Shurman as the opener....and Al Perkins will be with me as well....he's played with everyone from Gram Parsons to the Rolling Stones to Emmylou Harris......obviously his career is on a downslide!!! ha!
Anyway, i hope you can make it......we'll be in a festive mood, i'm sure..........take care, and hope everything is going well with you.

11th December Clements Acoustic Christmas special!!
The Delawares acoustic set
For our Christmas special Clements Acoustic has a very special treat for you all! The usually six-piece [and occasionally as much as 10-piece] Delawares are bringing three vocals and two guitars for a very special stripped down acoustic set. Katie Richardson, Dominic O’Neill and Owen Lamont will bring the essence of The Delawares to Clements and will hopefully have a couple of Christmas surprises in store!

Rachel Austin
"Standing head and shoulders above any of her contemporaries, if there's any justice in the world it's only a matter of time before Austin commands a higher profile, both locally and internationally. . . [she] performs what can only be described as ethereal, heartfelt music in the Martha Wainwright or Joan As Police Woman vein."- Patric Baird, 24/7 (Belfast Telegraph), March 2007
I'm looking forward to seeing you do something at the Out to Lunch festival.
I'm not going to specify what I'm looking forward to watching you do, because that would spoil it.
By the way, I had the strangest experience yesterday. I saw you in the street and felt compelled to say hello, but because I've never met you and only saw your picture on the internet, I felt it would be really inappropriate.
