Bio
GEVOLT is an Israeli based metal band founded in 2001. In 2006 released a debut CD called Sidur (ritual metal for practical use). Later the band changes the concept and start singing in traditional European Jewish language Yiddish, covering some classic Yiddish songs. As a result we get a 2-song containing EP "Yiddish Metal" which was self released by the band as promo package in 2007. During 2009-2010 GEVOLT makes some lineup changes and a second full-length album AlefBase was released in February-March of 2011.
