Tuy AWAKEN đã bắt đầu trong năm 1988, nhưng ban nhạc này chỉ đã ghi âm 2 CD : TALES OF ACID ICE CREAM trong năm 1996 và PARTY IN LYCEUM’S TOILETS trong năm 2001. Nhưng AWAKEN cũng đã ghi âm nhiều bài hát khác từ năm 1988 dến bây giờ. Công việc mới nhất của Awaken là anbom mini tên BEPPU NIGHTS. 5 bài hát về đêm ở một thành phố của Nhật Bản : Beppu.
Chín lúc quang trọng của Awaken :
1988 : Awaken đã bắt đầu sọan bài hát đầu tiên, ghi âm bằng piano và synthesizer với Chú Ced Mattys từ ban nhạc Metropolis.
1989 : Ghi âm đầu tiên ở xtuđiô tên “Memories Of A Teenage Cat” với Chú Vincent Trouble từ ban nhạc Big Troble.
1992 : Đi xtuđiô để ghi âm cát xét “demo” với Chú Vincent Trouble và Chú Ced Mattys và ca sĩ khác.
1996 : CD TALES OF ACID ICE CREAM và buổi hòa nhạc.
1999 : Gặp Ông Al Stewart ở Bỉ và Hà Lan.
2001 : CD PARTY IN LYCEUM’S TOILETS và buổi hòa nhạc.
2002 : Nekokawa (Dòng Sông Mèo).
2005 : Bài hát bằng tiếng Việt đầu tiên : "Chú Mèo Ngủ Quên" với ca sĩ Việt Nam tên Chị Trịnh Thanh Duyên, và buổi hòa nhạc cho hiệp hội "Hoa Sen". Hai buổi hòa nhạc ở Nhật Bản.
2006 : Bài hát “As a start : cà phê and pizza”, và anbom mini tên BEPPU NIGHTS trên internet.
2007 : Bài hát 'cover' “Rửa Mặt Như Mèo”, trên blog http://awaken.visit.vn . Bài hát mới "Áo Dài Màu Hồng" và "Xúp Sô-Cô-La".
2008 : Bài hát 'single' "I Know Time Is Passing By..." và "Riding The Yellow Line Gives Vibrations" (chỉ bằng phim).
Từ tháng 7, năm 2008, Gilles Snowcat chỉ dùng 'picks" Mèo Kít Ti thôi.
Vào Tháng 11, Năm 2008, Gilles Snowcat phát hành một album "solo" (một mình): "This Mouth (Nhạc cho Em Mèo") mà có 6 bài hát được viết ở Nhật Bản, Việt Nam, Pháp và Bỉ.

Greetings Gilles, It is my pleasure to be your friend. I revisited your page and really listened to your music. It has an intriquing sound. I loved the piano melody of Nhac Cho Em Meo Pt 1, but when I heard the very beautiful melody and chord structure of Yanagigaura, I started to sing and when you started started singing I shadowed the melody in like a jazz vein. Haven't had the WOW feeling in a long time when I listened to new music. Last time was probably Styx's Cyclorama CD. I'm happy that Nektar rejoined, so I've seen them a couple of times. Last time even had a long chat with Roye Albrighton. I hope to make it to the UK in August as John Lees and Woolly Wolstenholme are performing with a symphonical orchestra just like in the early 70's.
My eldest son (17) plays lead guitar in his own band "Amplified Noise". Their myspace contains some live recordings but they've just recorded their first demo and will probably have the finished product at the end of this month. Now they all have exams. It might be that they wait till Auguast because we're going to the US in July.
If you ever need a guitarist he'll be happy to help if he can. He's open to a lot and really wants to learn as much as possible.
