Koch has multiple Dove Awards and 38 Number One CCM songs. Some of the artists that he's worked with are Bob Carlisle, Larnelle Harris and Cindy Morgan. As a songwriter, he' scollaborated with Michael Crawford, Phillips Craig and Dean, Brian Littrel of theBackstreet Boys, Michael English and Donnie Osmond. Also on board for Ms. Zavalis' second EP is acclaimed LA Composer, Bob Barrett. Some of his past collaborations include Joe Cocker, Diana Ross andPat Benatar. Barrett recently collaborated with another CCM artist, American Idolfinalist, Colton Dixon, on his debut CD, "A Messenger", which is already rocking the charts. Barrett's music was just commissioned by ABC for a new reality/competition series airing in April called "Bet On Your Baby." Gina Zavalis' song, "In Your Eyes" spent almost 2 weeks at "Number 1" on the Indieheaven Fan Faves Top 50 Chart! Thanks for all your support and votes!

A lifelong passion for music and years of singing in a variety of musical styles are behind the success of Gina Zavalis and the recent release of her debut single "In Your Eyes." Nashville’s Beth Schackne of Schack Attack Songs says, “Beautiful melody, nice strong chorus. Gina obviously has a good grasp of the craft; very impressive for a beginning songwriter.”


Though Zavalis has been performing for over two decades she is just unveiling her song writing ability and the response is overwhelmingly positive. The LA Guitar Academy says, “In her new song, “In Your Eyes,” Gina Zavalis’ warm tones invite listeners to travel with her on the journey from despair to forgiveness. Her voice, plaintive at first, soars to brilliance as she captures the moment of transformation–a moment of pure freedom. Introspective, brutally honest, Gina conveys a very human moment: the desire for unconditional love, even amid one’s flaws”.


A native New Yorker, Gina began her career as a young girl in Off Broadway performances and musicals. Theater performance is an extremely disciplined craft that allows the performer to grow in live performance before a wide array of audiences who expect to hear their favorite songs performed with distinct familiarity. Traveling across the country in a number of productions, Gina never failed to live up to expectations.


In a nationally televised event at Yankee Stadium to a sold out crowd, Zavalis sang the national anthem, one of the most difficult songs to sing live for even the most seasoned performer. Tom Seaver is quoted as saying, “Wow, what a voice, that’s the best we heard all year!”


As Gina Zavalis’ artistic credit continues to climb, she has already garnered the respect of some of the industry’s most acclaimed talents. "Gina can wrap herself around a song, and in so doing, turns an ordinary POPsicle into a downright CREAMsicle!" Sass Jordan, Juno Award winning artist and former Canadian Idol host, remarked when asked about Gina’s singing.


Zavalis is working between New York City and Nashville recording a number of new songs with her producer, Doug Beiden, and management through Vertical Entertainment based in Nashville. Together they are creating an image that fits Gina’s three octave range, capitalize on placing her alongside contemporary female singers that have come before her such as Sarah Brightman, Celine Dion, and Barbra Streisand.
