Ginny and the Heartbreakers formed in May 2006. A couple of us had been listening to Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys and the Whomping Willows and thought that Wizard Rock might just be the funniest, coolest thing we'd ever seen. So we decided, hey why not write a song too. In all honesty we never expected to record even one song, but somehow everything came together and we became part of this amazing wizard rock community. The original Ginny and the Heartbreakers consists of Stacy, Andrea, Kristin, Marisa and Cassie. These are the band members for all of our songs through 2007. We were so incredibly lucky to add Suzy to Ginny and the Heartbreakers in August of 2007. Due to different circumstances some of the band can't make it to our shows so when you see us play live it is typically Stacy, Suzy and Cassie. The other girls join us whenever they can!
