::what?what?! you heard it hear first. december 1st we bust out a whole new crew: random recipe. we got danny from cpc gangbangs on the drums, lisa gamble (aka gambletron) brings us SUBTRONIC BASS on her little korg kollection, and a crazy bunch of female rappers, i.e. fran+fabsz, whom i met last summer freestyling in front of a 99 cent pizza joint at 3 o clock in the morning one night. they were beatboxing with a little guitar. it was love at first sight. but this is hella underground. as in NO BODY has seen these ladiesz before and ALL PEOPLE will flip out on these two.. if they show up early enough to the gatineau show, that is. they have the confidence of flava flav but they'd never been on a stage before til i threw them up on it at Rap Maudit a couple weeks ago. THEY KILLED THAT SHIT! now we got ourselves a little crew. i'm gonna try and get donzelle and maybe even dee up on that eventually.. if i can get ahold of her. gambletron and i are gonna hold down the beats cos danny has a gig in new york that night with th' gangbangsz. but wait til you see that jewish wonder breaking it down. next show we'll have it all together. i might rap a little bit with them this one time and sing some hooks.. but i'm just the coach. the cheerleader. the weed provider. i got kindof a quincy jones thing goin on with this crew. but this shit is dope man, for real. i can not big this up ENOUGH.

- in other news: gz1's gonna be in europe for december-january. i'll post the gig dates up just as soon as they get confirmed. i'm mostly just heading out to greenland to visit some pals and eat fish and chill. maybe learn some throat singing if i can get the chance. but i'll be doing some shows in belgium.. maybe berlin. hit me up if you got somethin. i think gambletron's gonna bring out the bass on this party too. so hit her up if you got somethin too. she's down there in 15 yr old version on that top 28 or whatever number it is by now.
::also! i've been getting down to business on the rap front. working on some collaborations with oggie+jace from the besnard lakes. anyone who has heard oggie's basslines KNOWS she can hold her own in the wild world of hip hop.. NO QUESTION. jace is gonna make it trippy. i even caught david bryant, underground hermit composer from godspeed you! black emperor fame, makin a beat with this antiquated old drum machine, a microphone, and about ninety effects pedals strung together. now i got him on the case for a track or two. and who else? well me, man.. i've been makin beats. but i keep giving em away cos i'm way into production and helping out girl rappers and all the feministas who can grind, you know. oh yeah.. but i'm gonna get into the jam with roy vucino of cpc gangbangs on a track or two as well. yeah all these punk rockers with their psych appeal.. all these cats are coming up with some ILL SHIT when it comes to hip hop. and it's all for real.. no samples, nothing flipped, nothing bitten. so this new record.. when it *does* come out.. is going to freak out some of the homies, that's for damn sure.
- in the meantime, i'm burning myself a ghetto demo to sell on the road while i'm in brussels and stuff. all of you who thought gz1 was dead, you got another thing coming. i was just brewing things up in this here hide-out of mine. got a whole cauldron of spinny shit to blow yr mind on..
