About me: I believe that Freedom of the Press is essential. While the press may be a weak reed to lean on, it is the indispensable support for all other freedoms.
I believe that nations should settle their differences on the baseball diamond or via one big band competition... "And the winner is... LATVIA!" I cannot be close friends with anyone who doesn't read. I am fervent about separation of government and religion. The Constitution says, "No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any Office or Public Trust under the United States." Word!!
Who I'd like to meet: At my perfect dinner party I am seated between The Dalai Lama and Robert Downey Jr. Benicio Del Torro is across from me. Bill Withers is at the piano. Bliss.
